Dmytro was wonderful! it was such a pleasure to meet someone so passionate about his work and the history of Antelope Island and Salt Lake City. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and we learned so much during this half-day experience. He also went out of his way to take great photos for everyone and made sure the whole group was having a fun time. He’s an excellent photographer! A couple of tips: it’s a long tour, so definitely eat beforehand. Dmytro provided water and granola bars, which was much appreciated, but since the tour runs well past lunchtime, I wished I’d packed something a bit more filling. The only small downside was the number of YouTube videos played while on the bus and even while on the island. They were interesting and informative, but I personally would have preferred to spend more time outside enjoying the sights firsthand. Overall, I’m giving this tour 5 stars — it was a fantastic experience! While it was a long day, I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Having an experienced and considerate tour guide makes all the difference and Matei Travel, who provides this tour delivered a wonderful experience. Dimitrios Matei was our guide and from start to finish to exceptional care of my wife and I and the other guests. Very knowledgeable not only of the history of the island, but also took us to beautiful vistas and wildlife viewing areas. We saw and photographed bison, as well as pronghorn on our trip and he even took photos of us at various locations. Very "first class" operator. Highly recommend. Thanks for a great tour Dimi!!!

The driver was overly thorough. No time to digest his information. I felt unsafe as he was multitasking while driving on the freeway.

Our guide Doma (spellling?) was very friendly and for the of us, it was wonderful and fun trip. We went to Antelope Island. SLC, and from the moment I was picked up at my hotel and five hours later dropped off, it was pure sightseeing joy. Up close and almost personal with bison (from the comfortable van) and prong horned antelope and some light hikes kept us moving. Water and small snacks are provided. Bring your own if you have dietary needs. Doma was very accommodating and also played photographer for us. His enthusiasm infectious. I would try Viator again.

It was very informative and more than what was expected. Since there was just the two of us on the tour we were treated to additional history of Utah. Saw a lot of wildlife and a spectacular view of the sunset.

He was excellent! He has extensive knowledge of Utah’s history and shared so much with us. He also took many photos, which made the experience even more memorable. I joined the tour alone, but he was very friendly and welcoming, so I felt completely comfortable.

Worth the trip! Beautiful scenery. This trip is packed with amazing scenery. Small group experience is cozy and fun. Our guide, Dima, was so knowledgeable and entertaining. His enthusiasm was infectious. He made the trip so much fun.
