Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Kona’s marine mysteries, highlighted by a magnificent and pristine 25-acre natural coral reef garden created by an ancient lava flow. The Kona dive site is frequented by fascinating marine life such as barracuda, yellow tang, eel and parrot fish. Children must be 36 inches tall or taller to ride the submarine

Children under age 3 who meet the 36" requirement are allowed to ride the submarine and a child ticket must be purchased.

Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes. Shuttle boat ride from the pier to the submarine and transfer is 5 minutes each way

Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder to board the submarine

Our escorts will assist you to our shuttle vessel from our Atlantis office which will take you out to the submarine.

I have not done the submarine for many years but grand family wanted to go. OMG what an amazing trip now. The submarine is new spotless with comfortable bench seats and very large viewing ports. We covered a lot area actually reaching a depth of 105 feet. The skipper “flew “ the sub through a wonderland of marine life. The narrator was outstanding. He identified everything. We were 3 generations and everyone was enthralled.

Was educational. I've never been on a sub before, so thought it would be fun for the kids. Theses are things that you can't see just snorkeling.

Great experience. A different world underwater. Saw so many corals and fishes. Saw couple of sharks and dolphins too. The crew were all very nice. I loved the tour.

I highly recommend this experience to anyone. It was very interesting landing on the ocean floor and the live narrator was very knowledgeable. You see a lot of marine life and it is breathtaking.

Great. Saw an Ell and sharks wrecks and lots of fish. We also parked on the bottom at 117 feet. So Aloha from Kona

Checking in was not clear. However staff was very helpful. Allow time to park and walk to check in. Parking is not easy to find.
