All of our guides have individual and unique ties to the Amish community and have always enjoyed showing off the “true” Lancaster County. This rich, immersive experience is personally designed to give you a rare window into the authentic Amish culture. Every meal is an amazing experience!

* Vegetarian meals are available.

* Please note this tour is not confirmed until we secure an Amish Family host.

* The PA Department of Agriculture requires us to inform you in advance that these meals are prepared in private homes, which are not licensed or inspected.

* Please dress respectfully and adhere to their preferences to not photograph their faces.

A fantastic authentic tour. Dale was intimate with his Amish neighbours and was happy to discuss in depth their way of life. We got a fantastic home cooked meal from Sarah who also entertained us on the harmonica. Sarah was so open and we had great discussion about her Amish traditions.

Wonderful and informative tour with our guide, Moses. Our Amish host, Sarah, was lovely and an incredible cook! We had a fantastic meal in her barn, and a tour of her farm afterwards. She answered all of our questions, and even played some tunes for us on her harmonica.

This tour and meal was an amazing experience all around. David our guide was very knowledgeable and took great care of us getting to and from the farm in comfort. Dinner was delicious and plentiful. The family was so gracious and we loved seeing the farm and talking with the kids.

This was a highlight of our trip. Moses was a wonderful guide, and having lunch with Sarah was amazing. So much good food! We enjoyed homemade bread, butter, jam, apple butter, pickles, pickled okra, apple sauce, meatloaf, the best mashed potatoes, butter noodles, green beans with ham, fresh peach slices, apple pie, cherry pie, chocolate chip cookies, and vanilla ice cream. She is not only a great cook and a warm and friendly person. We were able to learn a lot about Amish customs. We also got to meet her husband and children (and doggy!) and see their business. Definitely recommend if you want a unique opportunity to spend time with Amish people.
