  My boyfriend has been deployed for the past 6 months. We decided to meet in Portugal on his travel pass. We had the wine tour booked which completely exceeded our expectations! Carlos was amazing from start to finish! He was extremely friendly, accommodating and informative about this beautiful country! We stopped for coffee on the way, he took candid pictures throughout the tour, (which ended up being some of my favorite photos of the trip) and was very knowledgeable about the wine. He made wonderful restaurant recommendations that allowed us to experience authentic Portuguese food. At the end of our amazing day he offered to take us on another tour the next day to three different districts. This was so different than the previous day, but just as fabulous! He tailored this day to what we were interested in seeing. We would not have seen or learned as much without Carlos! He made our short time together in Portugal even more magical and added special touches that were so appreciated and did not go unnoticed! I cannot recommend him enough! • Wonderful tour of the Azeitão wineries

  What started as a disappointment ended up being a wonderful day. Due to a mixup, the tour had been canceled. Upon contacting the tour operator, Carlos, everything was quickly resolved. Carlos picked me up at the cruise terminal and we began my private tour of the wineries offered in the tour. I’ve been to Lisbon before, so the wineries were most important to me! Carlos was also a wine enthusiast, so we had lots to converse about. Carlos pointed out various landmarks and points of interest along the way to the wineries. The first winery, Bacalhoa, was fairly modern. I was given introductions to the 3 wines I tasted. Due to time restraints, I did not tour the winery, but I have been to many wineries before. The wines were very tasty, and I ended up buying a bottle to bring home We stopped for a lovely cup of coffee between wineries. Carlos was very informative about the wineries and the surrounding areas. This is what I love about small sized tours. You get to know your guide and a personal touch of the areas. The second winery was José Maria de Fonseca. Oh, my! This winery is 140 years old and run by the same original family. Stunning grounds and buildings. The barrel room was breathtaking. So much history and wine in one room. After the tour, we tasted four wines. They did not disappoint. This was my favorite winery After the tour, it was back to the ship. Carlos had me back in time and he really saved the day. I would not hesitate to take another tour with Carlos! He really made the day special!! Thank you Carlos!

  We had such an amazing time today with Carlos after several busy tours this was so refreshing and fun. We went to two very different but amazing wineries had a delicious lunch and did some sightseeing! I would highly recommend it for people that would like to get away from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon for a day and enjoy great Portuguese wines, some art, history and an amazing view to finish off the day ! • Perfect wine trip from Lisbon!

  Perfect day in the beautiful wine country just south of Lisbon. Carlos was the prefect host, taking care of us throughout, imparting his immense knowledge and giving us the inside track on the pretty area and terrific wines of this historic region. Great choice of contrasting wine visits, excellent option to stop for a food break and fabulous sightseeing on the way back to Lisbon. All in all, one of the best days of our trip - highly recommended!

  We had a great visit and got to taste several wines at two wineries in the Setubal region. The tours were very different styles - one more focused on the history of the winery and one focused on art. Our tour guide, Carlos, was informative and was kind enough to take photos and share them with us after the tour.
