5.00IF you can, take this tour on Day 1 of your visit to Barcelona. This was easily one of the best 1-1/2 hours I spent during my 4 days in Barcelona. It is a beautiful park with lots of green parrots, lush vegetation and beautiful architecture. But the tour guide also helps reveal the historical impact Guell and Gaudi had on 19th and 20th century innovations in architecture and art throughout the world. Golden Tour Guide made it very easy to meet up with the rest of the group with clear instructions (gotta be something wrong if you mess this one up). Our guide was perfect. She was very knowledgeable (a professor at the university) and entertaining while guiding us through the history and architecture of the park. She was very amenable to answering any questions from the group, was diligent in keeping track of all us wanderers, and provided helpful tips towards enjoying our free time in the park after the tour. She was a delight to meet and gave us a very good impression of Golden Tour Guide.

5.00We visited Park Guell today and booked our tour via Get Your Guide. Marc was our guide today and his knowledge kept us well informed on our tour. We would highly recommend these guys and it was value for money too.
A rewarding visit with a small flat on the entrance to the park.

3.00We loved our visit to Park Güell in Barcelona. Our guide Alba was exceptional: very interesting, warm and human. We really enjoyed this experience. However, one negative point to note: the information on the park entrance on TripAdvisor is not correct. Indeed, there are four different entrances, and the ticketing does not always correspond to the actual entrance. We had to walk over an extra mile with some elevation gain to find the right entrance, which was difficult for some visitors who found themselves in the same situation, especially the elderly or less fit. This led some to abandon the visit. So we arrived late to our visit. TripAdvisor took absolutely no responsibility and did not want to make a reservation. It was not to mention the kindness of our guide who put us on the next visit (in view of the cancellations due to the reasons mentioned). She told us that this /Google maps address problem has persisted for months. I hope this remark will help improve information for future visitors. Exact address: Ctra. del Carmel, 23, Horta-Guinardó, 08024 Barcelona, Spain Metro: L3 LESSEPS (not Vallcarca as Google maps says! From Vallcarca = a lot of elevation gain!)

1.00Do not book with this company. I joined the tour group , very excited to learn about parq guell only for the tour guide to loose me and another solo traveler. We were at the first stop and he said please take a few minutes here and then suddenly there was a crowd and then just me and the other traveler. He did not clearly say anything into the air piece just gone. We jogged in both directions and no sign of the group. There was no way to contact him and if he took a head count he would have known we were missing. Also he did not have any flag. Don’t tell people to spend time in an area - he also did not say anything like stay close I move fast nothing. So now I do not know the true story behind the park. I have tried to search on YouTube but nothing as good as a guide in person. When I reached out for a refund for only the tour portion and not the general admission they refused. If you are a solo traveler and not with a group of your own that will help you not get left behind- I would not recommend. I also went out of my way to find a trustworthy park attended to return the audio equipment and they could not do me the favor of returning my lost investment in their tour group- we are talking small cost for a ruined experience.
