This is the tour for war history buffs as we bring you to key spots that are rich in World War II history. Singapore was a major British military base and was also referred to as “Gibraltar of the East”. Find out how the defence strategy failed, and recount the days of the Japanese Occupation of Singapore.
You will commence the experience at the Kranji War Memorial which honours fallen Commonwealth war veterans who died in battle during World War II. After which, you will proceed to Changi area to visit Changi Prison Wall, Changi Chapel temporary exhibit (Actual chapel is undergoing renovation) and Changi Beach Park. We will also drive past Selarang Barracks, Changi Air Base, Johor Battery.

5.0This was a great tour. So very interesting. The leader was very knowledgeable and could answer a lot of questions. The museum was outstanding. I learned a lot about the Singapore occupation then I knew. If you have time during your stay, you need to do this. This is not touristy at all.

1.0The tour guide used a small speaker attached to his belt on the bus, instead of the bus' PA system. It was of such poor quality no-one towards the rear of the bus could understand him. So the narrative was wasted. Between Kanji and Changi he used the proper PA system but didn't not talk about WWII but his modern day circumstances with the Singapore military. Important landmarks from the war years were missed. We only saw Kranji and Changi and one gun emplacement. The tour was a waste of money

4.0Great tour and very knowledgeable guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip around the island looking at some of the significant events of WW2. The joining instructions, however were terrible. The tour was to commence at 1330 and our hotel pickup said 0815-0830. The tour commencement time was the actual pickup time. Recommend that you phone the local provider to confirm.
