Mutianyu Great Wall
Your English - speaking guide and private car will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel bright and early. Since pandas are most active in the morning, our first stop will be the Panda House located in the western part of the city. The giant panda is the rarest member of the bear family and is among the world's most endangered animals. Listed as endangered in the World Conservation Union's (IUCN's) Red List of Threatened Species, there are only about 1,600 giant pandas left in the world, and you'll have the wonderful opportunity to observe some of them here. After the panda visit, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch, which will take around 40 minutes.

5.00My tour guide Alice Ji was very good and the driver Miss Zhao was also very quick. We saw the pandas in the morning at the zoo and then had lunch together after seeing the jade factory too. We went up a cableway to the great wall and then I had a chance to walk the wall on my own which was nice. Then I went down on the toboggan which was also fun. See pic for me and Alice on the cableway haha

4.00Don’t be fooled by the cable car - the walk to the cable car is tough and once at the wall entry to the wall is difficult. Before choosing this part of the wall ensure your are fit enough to walk the steep path to the cable car - one of our group was ujanable to make the cable car Tour guide May was excellent

4.00Overall very good experience. Susan was very knowledgable, friendly, accomodating, and excellent at guiding us. The tour itself was flexible also to cater for two children and a senior. The great wall of China Badaling was awesome, and Susan took us through a new section away from the crowds. I would recommend skipping the Beijing zoo altogether as it was in a very sad state and the animals looked unkempt and unhappy.

5.00We had such a great time and experience with our tour guide Christine. She was super sweet, attentive, and made everything so easy and enjoyable for us. She took us to the Panda House and the Great Wall of China, and made both experiences even more special with her knowledge and friendly vibe. She was always checking in on us and making sure we were comfortable. Honestly felt like we were exploring with a friend. Highly recommend her if you’re planning a trip

5.00We had an unforgettable experience on this tour and it is due to Lily being an amazing tour guide! From the start, she greeted us with a warm welcome and made sure we knew the plan for the day. We were able to see all the pandas at the Beijing Zoo since Lily knew the best time of day to visit. Our photos and videos from The Great Wall were breathtaking since she made sure we stopped at all the right spots. On the way back to our hotel, we even made an unplanned stop at a tea house since Lily knew we enjoyed tea and this was another great experience. All in all, we had a wonderful day full of memories for a lifetime and we owe a special thank you to Lily for her care of us during our trip to Beijing. My mom wanted to give her 10 stars!

5.00I had an amazing experience on our Viator tour to Mutianyu Great Wall and the Panda House in Beijing, all thanks to our incredible guide, Mina. From the very start, everything was seamless — Mina picked us up directly from our hotel, which made the day completely stress-free. The van was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for the journey. What truly stood out was Mina herself. She was exceptionally knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating details about the Great Wall, its history, and the significance of the Mutianyu section. At the Panda House, she continued to impress with her insights, making the visit even more meaningful. Throughout the entire tour, she kept us well-informed about the schedule, what to expect next, and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Her professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made this one of the best tours I’ve ever taken. Highly recommend this tour — and if you can, ask for Mina.
