Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)
Situated in the northwest of Beijing City, Summer Palace is the largest and most well-preserved royal garden in China, it famous for its natural views and cultural interests, the palace has long been recognized as 'The Museum of Royal Gardens'. Summer Palace composed by the Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, it has over 3,000 ancient structures, including pavilions, towers, bridges, corridors, etc.

It’s a good idea to book your tickets in advance, particularly in peak season. Choose your preferred date and time slot for the visit and your tickets will be sent to your email. When you arrive at the Summer Palace you’ll be able to enter without delay.

We were picked up directly from our hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned car and dropped back off afterward, which made everything so convenient. Our guide, Lucy, was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke excellent English. We really enjoyed chatting with her throughout the day. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

5.00Pre-booked tickets from UK with guide option but pleased we decided to explore on our own as nice to go at our own pace and everything was easy to find. The highlight was the boating lake which was peaceful and offered great views.

5.00This was the last experience in Beijing before leaving and it was the best way to end our adventure. This place is absolutely gorgeous. We had a private tour with Jay who made the experience so much better with his attention to us and to the details of this amazing place. The beauty of the nature as well as the history makes this a fabulous place to visit
