Afterwards your guide takes you to Piazza della Signoria, an open-air art gallery where Michelangelo's David was originally supposed to stand. Then explore the streets of Florence, taking in landmarks like the Ponte Vecchio bridge, Palazzo della Signoria e Piazza della Repubblica.
If you select the VIP David & Duomo option at time of booking, instead of a Florence walking tour, you'll spend more time in the Duomo, getting exclusive access to the Duomo's North Terrace and climbing to the top of the Dome for stunning panoramic views of Florence.

Please Note: This tour includes a VIP David & Duomo option, featuring a visit to the North Terrace and a Dome Climb. The Dome Climb is only available to guests aged 7 and older. Please take a moment to choose the option that best suits your interests.
Due to the religious nature of the Cathedral, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. Walks cannot be held responsible for those denied entry.
Flip-flops, slippers, clogs and shoes with heels are prohibited inside the Cathedral.
On Sundays, we will not enter the Cathedral of Florence due to Sunday mass. The guide will provide an explanation of the Duomo from the outside.
During the Christmas and Easter periods, due to increased visitor traffic, the Duomo skip-the-line option is not guaranteed. As a result, you may encounter a wait before entering the Duomo.

5.00We did the skip-the-line tour of the Accademia and Duomo (including climb and terrace). Our guide was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, passionate and her English was fantastic! The skip the line was amazing as the queues were huge (even early in the morning). Would just be mindful there is about 460 stairs, some are extremely narrow and steep. Great tour!

5.00Excellent way to ensure you get the most of your visit to wonderful Florence. The guides are very experienced and our guide Alma was certainly a font of all knowledge. She made the history of the subjects come to life with her in depth knowledge and her wonderful dramatic story telling skills. Although Florence was very busy when I visited (late September) she navigated us through the crowds with speed and ease. My 3 hour trip flew by and I could have carried on soaking up all the culture all day. The booking process and meeting point information was quick easy and accurate. The meeting point is central and easy to find. The welcome friendly. The whole trip was excellent. Excellent value for money. Thank you Viator.

5.00We loved this tour. There were only 8 of us and our guide Patrizia (Patty) was fabulous. We were given so much information about the history of Florence and everything else we saw but it was interesting information and stories rather than boring facts. The Duomo was amazing. Yes there were lots of steps (lots) but we were not rushed and of course the climb was worth it. We were given lots of information about what we saw and ideas of where else to visit. Our guide was passionate about Florence and the Statue of David which was so impressive. Well worth the money!
