1.00What a waste! We waited for 30 minutes with them forcing us to stand in order in line despite benches available. The assistant said the bus was delayed and would take another 10-15 minutes. When a bus finally came she proceeded to let people at the back of the line on first so they got the few covered spaces on the top. She then told us it was a different route ( we didn’t care which route and had told her that at the beginning). She then told us the route we were supposedly waiting for may not come at all. We got on the bus that had come. Despite having a retractable awning, the driver refused to pull it forward a bit so we could get some shade. It was in the upper 80’s, full sun. If you want a reliable hop on hop off tour take the Madrid Tour Hop on Hop Off instead. It came frequently, had the awning covering half of the upstairs and much more pleasant attendants.
If you want to waste your money buy the Big Bus ticket

1.00The buses are terribly hot, there's no air conditioning, can't open the window. The employee on the bus is very poorly polite. The buses take an eternity. There are other companies that do the Hop On Hop Off and what I watched is that there are more tourists in the other companies than in the Big Bus. I do not indicate the company Big Bus de Madrid.

4.00That the buses number seems to be not sufficient to make more frequent trips. The convenience of the buses can be improved especially during the hot season to provide at least a small fan.

2.00Fran was nice but the microphone was terrible. We missed a lot of what the information he shared. The ride is too fast. It didn’t allow for pictures. The markers to find the next hop on/off location is very difficult.
Catastrophic experience, avoid at all costs!

1.00This company is a complete scam. We never managed to find the Plaza de Cibeles bus stop, and after waiting for more than an hour at the stop used by the other companies, the bus never came. We therefore decided to buy tickets from another company (City Tour) so we could still enjoy the experience, meaning we ended up paying twice for sightseeing bus tickets. I should have checked the reviews before booking with Big Bus, because it really is a huge scam. I tried calling customer service to find the bus stop, but nobody answered. Instead, I was told there was a live chat available to answer my questions. The bus stop is marked with a dot on the map, but the dot is not even located on the purple route, making it impossible to know whether the location is correct — and since the bus never came, there was no way to confirm it. The saddest part is having wasted so much time during an already very busy sightseeing day. Seriously, avoid this company!

2.00We were disappointed in this on/off bus trip around historic Madrid. Lots of guitar music, very little explanations of what we were passing, etc. The last stop, at The Prado, wasn’t even mentioned! Due to traffic any discussion was frequently out of sync. None of the stops are marked! If you walked to another stop, you didn’t know where to wait.

2.00Poor quality/price ratio. The bus travels at a high speed, with brief explanations; from the inside, it is hard to see what is described by the audio guide (at that time, the temperature was low, and we did not position ourselves in the uncovered upper part of the bus). For getting around, the subway is more useful (a 5-day pass costs less than the bus...)

4.00Enjoyable and imformative Some better communition to customers when iterneries change e.g no mention that cable car closed. No mention that the Yellow tour yesterday afternoon could not go full route We only found out when we asked why the tour had been shortened We were then told this was due to an accident.This should have bee announced on the bus

3.00Buses are not as frequent r as you would have thought or told . Transfer to another color was not easy or convenient.
