  I enjoyed the mangrove tour but was a little disappointed not to see many animals. One snake in a tree. The guide was really informative and passionate about the ecosystem. Sadly the rubbish in the mangroves was disappointing and made me question the environmental impact. (Especially as the guide didn’t pick up the floating bottles in the river)

  Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the experience itself was most enjoyable. Pickup and drop off at the hotel was also much appreciated and our driver, Mr. Ari, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

  Had an excellent time and the tour guide was outstanding. We took two tours; one during the day and the firefly tour and we would highly recommend either one.

  Great tour that was simple, easy and good to do with a toddler. Was a great way to spend the morning and see some of the Bintan wildlife. We saw a monitor lizard, family of monkeys and lots of mangrove snakes.

  It it was what we expected it to be. Our guide was quite helpful and friendly. Nothing bad happened on the trip. Got to see a couple of wild animals, and tropical plants.

• An easy and enjoyable mangrove tour

  The boat was fast and the breeze felt great. You can easily see the large mangrove jungle from the boat. If you're lucky, you might even see crocodiles. The guide was fun and kind. He spoke slowly, so it was easy to understand his English. If you wear a hat, make sure it has a string attached, otherwise it will fly off, so if you're worried about sunburn, it's a good idea to bring a hat with strings and a jacket. There were no bugs at all, but we did use bug spray just in case. Maybe because it's aimed at tourists, the toilets were clean too!

  Loved this tour, the guys were very professional and good company. Very reasonable price for the experience. They were very knowledgeable and we saw lots of wildlife in the mangroves. A big contrast to the bustling city of Singapore yet only a short ferry ride away. The tour itself is a couple of hours so you can do it in the morning then have the rest of the day to relax. Highly recommended!

  It was a quaint tour with considerate guides on a small boat through the narrow mangroves. Even saw a few snakes.
