The sanctuary was fantastic, wait for the tour guide to take you round, very informative. We stopped off at Richmond first and visited the gaol, very much an eye opener. Our tour guide/driver on the bus was also very informative. Definitely worth it

Bonorong is absolutely amazing and the staff obviously enjoy their job. All the animals are well cared for and if they can will be released back into the wild. Richmond is a quaint town and Richmond Gaol is worth a visit

would have liked to have had more time in Richmond and Bonorong, but due to late pick up of some of the guests, we were rushed, disappointing.

Tour guide Mark was very knowledgeable and gave us a good commentary as we made the short trip out to Richmond. We didn’t have loads of time there, but we did a quick tour on the bus and then had about an hour to look around on our own. I did the Gaol (we got given half price vouchers) and then went down the path to photograph the famous bridge, this filled the time perfectly. From there, we made the journey to Bonorong, which was lovely. We got to hand feed the kangaroos and then there was an option to go on a guided tour. I did my own thing on this occasion, but got around to seeing everything and even had time to look pop in the gift shop, to stock up on souvenirs for young family members. This was a perfect way to spend an afternoon.
