  Great guide in Eko, professional, friendly and knowledgeable - a good conversationalist on the long drives between each destination. Everything expertly organised including tickets for each attraction. Enjoyed the experience so much hired them and Eko again for more sightseeing two days later.   This was a fantastic tour. Incredible views of mount merapi and the temples are so stunning. Tomo, my driver, was informative and lovely to have a conversation with on the long drives. The scenery on the drive is also spectacular. The temples are beautiful and the experience inside is smooth and enlightening.   It was a very early start, but from the moment we met our guide/driver Pras at our hotel, we felt good about our choice. We had touched base over WhatsApp in the days before our trip and on the day, everything went to plan. We chose the full day, sunrise option and enjoyed it all. Nothing was rushed and Pras drive like a champion - which is reassuring in some crazy traffic conditions! Borobadur was the highlight for us and while the route the Jeep took us at Merapi didn't look spectacular, the driver was a very good guide and filled us in on a lot of the history (and damage) caused by recent eruptions. If you have time constraints that means you can't fit it in on separate days, or if you just want to cross off the highlights on a single day before finishing with dinner and a beer. I can highly recommend this tour.

  My husband and I did the sunrise Borobudur, Merapi jeep tour and Prambanan. Our driver Bhimo was fantastic - he drove well, the car was clean and he was happy to chat and answer any questions we had. He handed us over to 3 amazing tour guides at our destinations; all of whom were knowledgeable and again happy to answer questions. There was no rush or pressure and we had a fantastic day.   Borobudur temple is an amazing place everyone should see. You get your own slippers that you can keep after the tour if you want. The guides are very professional and the visit duration is just fine. For merapi, we visited the bunker that was built to protect the people from hot ashes after the explosion, but failed in 2006 due to too much lava and a memorial place for the victims. We did not see the volcano itself due to clouds. Prambanan temple is a remarkable place of hindu architecture that is still being repaired ( a lot of little towers collapsed in an earthquake). You get to visit all 4 rooms of the main ( siwa) temple and are free to roam the park and other smaller temples in it. However, the Sewu temple was unavailable due to unknown reasons ( signs only in local language).

  The trip with our Guide Bhimo was super confortable. He took care of everything and we could just enjoy the Borobudur. The Merapi Lava Tour was a little disappointing, we couldn't see the Merapi because of the Clouds and the rest of the Tour was no real Vulcano feeling as we expected.

  I went to Borobudur, Merapi, and Prambanan on my tour. There’s some distance between each of the sites—the tour begins at 7 and ends in the late afternoon—but everything was organized well and in advance, which made for a streamlined experience. Hendra, the driver who took me to the different sites, was great: friendly, helpful, and enjoyable to talk to.
