This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! Your 2.5-hour tour travels from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace in the North End, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

What To Expect
Meet your guide inside Boston Common at the Boston Foundation Monument on the northern boundary of the park, opposite 50 Beacon Street (02108). The granite memorial features a bronze relief depicting two men shaking hands, when the Puritans arrived in 1630 to what is now Boston.

5.00Alex was an awesome guide! It was 95 degrees but he kept us energized. He is a high school history teacher and obviously knows a ton, loves to share it, and in such an engaging way! Would 1000% recommend! We also loved the small group, especially having seen other large groups with the guide yelling or using a bullhorn or microphone.

5.00Our tour guide, a retired middle school history teacher, was an expert at keeping us informed and entertained. She was able to answer any of the oddball questions that were thrown at her, and provided us with suggestions for other tours in the area as well as dining suggestions after the tour.

5.00Our tour guide Alex was amazing. He’s a history professor and incredibly knowledgeable in addition to being full of energy and great anecdotes. We all loved this tour, including my 10 and 13 year old. The tour company is also super professional and on top of it. The day of our tour was supposed to be 100 degrees and they proactively reached out to us to offer us new options. I HIGHLY recommend this. I am from Boston and still loved it and learned a ton!
