Boston's principal role in launching the American Revolution is linked by the brick-lined Freedom Trail. This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! Your 2.5-hour tour travels from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace in the North End, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Meet your guide inside Boston Common at the Boston Foundation Monument on the northern boundary of the park, opposite 50 Beacon Street (02108). The granite memorial features a bronze relief depicting two men shaking hands, when the Puritans arrived in 1630 to what is now Boston.

5.00We really enjoyed this tour. There is so much history in Boston and Meghan did a great job of fitting in as much as she could without it being overwhelming. We learned a lot about Boston's role in the beginning of the American Revolution (and that we should have paid more attention when we were school!). It is a lot of walking and standing but pretty standard for a walking tour. Would be tough if you had mobility issues in some areas because of the cobblestone streets and sidewalks. Also, you start in Boston Common but you don't spent much time there so if you want to see the park or some of the landmarks, plan to arrive early. It's a beautiful park (and huge!) The tour finishes near the water. There was a short refreshment/bathroom stop towards the end and there is a restroom fairly close to the starting point.

5.00Maura was an EXCELLENT guide. She exuded love and enthusiasim for Bostonian and US history. She delivered the content in a way that was both accessible and entertaining. She also provided great recommendations regarding places to eat and things to do. I highly recommended this tour with Maura. It was money well spent.

5.00Kile was absolutely amazing as our Freedom Trail guide! He made the entire tour so engaging, informative, and genuinely fun from start to finish. You can tell he’s incredibly passionate about the history, and the way he explained everything made it easy to follow and really brought Boston’s story to life. He kept everyone interested the entire time and had such a great energy and personality. We learned so much and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend taking a tour with him if you get the chance!

5.00We had Dimas as our tour guide. He is from Boston and very enthusiastic. Tour was 2 hours 45 minutes with a 12 minute break about 2/3rds the way through it. We did 10:45 AM one. This tour covered some odd items you do not get from a general tour - which made it so good.

5.00Our guide Maura was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and just plain o'le fun. I learned a lot about the history of Boston and also got some good restaurant recommendations in the process. I highly recommend this tour with Maura.
