Step aboard the trolley of the doomed and join your host, a 17th-century grave digger, cursed with a sentence of eternal damnation. This wretched creature is doomed to travel the streets of Boston and relay the stories of the unfortunate souls he encountered and the macabre events he had been witness to during his purgatory. Hear about Boston's most sinister characters - from the Angel of Death to the king of all killers - the Boston Strangler. Learn about all the haunts that call the "Hub" their home. But that's not all! Step inside two of the oldest burying grounds in Boston for a walking tour you will never forget. Learn the significance of much of the imagery found in these 17th century burial grounds and the famous and not so famous (but even more interesting) occupants therein. Visit Copp's Hill Burying Ground in the North End, nestled atop the tallest point in one of Boston's oldest historic districts. Here you will visit the final resting place of Cotton Mather, a man famous for his "intimate" involvement with the Salem Witch Trials. Then to the Granary Burying Ground where you will visit the final resting places of many of the famous heroes of the American Revolution including John Hancock, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams. Remember that half of the tour is walking, so comfortable shoes are recommended (so you don't become "dead" on your feet)!

5.00We had booked a sunset boat cruise that got canceled on us at the last minute, and we had wanted to do a haunted tour, so we immediately pivoted to Ghosts and Graveyards. We got lucky, there was space, and it was better than the cruise would have been. Our demon guide, Robbie, was brilliant, creepy, and knowledgeable, with great stories and facts. I got lucky and caught a shot of him in the graveyard. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a bit of fun, whimsy, ghoulishness, and facts about death in old Boston.

5.00Ghosts and Graveyard Tour We had a great time! Ronnie was a great story teller and made it fun along the way. He really got into his character and tried to draw us all into his back story. I would recommend this tour to anyone that wants to hear the tales and see a few cemeteries.

5.00We had a great time on this tour. The people who work it are friendly and fun. They seem to really enjoy their jobs. We learned some spooky fun facts about Boston and enjoyed the sites we saw. Ronny did an amazing job of staying in character throughout the tour!

5.00You need a jacket on the night tour because they have the trolley windows open. Plan on doing a bit of walking. The staff was very entertaining and extremely cordial!!!! We are happy we took this tour!!

5.00Such a fun way to tour Boston with teens. I had chaperoned a similar trip for my oldest daughter's 8th grade East Coast trip back in 2007, now that my younger daughters are around the same age, I wanted them to experience some of the highlights of that trip. All of the walking graveyard tours were already booked for the day we needed, reluctantly I paid the extra few dollars per ticket for the trolley tour. Turns out it was money well spent! The trolley was so much fun and the tour guide was able to really spin his tales while he had a "captive" audience. Our girls are young teens, making them the perfect age for understanding and appreciating the history without being scared of the ghost stories or graveyards. There was one younger child on the tour, maybe 7-8. They didn't seem scared, but it was hard to tell if they were understanding much of what was being talked about. on the technical side.. Ordering the tickets through Viator and accessing the tickets with my phone was very easy and convenient. This tour met up in a very different area of Boston than the daytime walking tour, so pay careful attention to that. We did the trolley tour in early April and although it did not rain, we definitely needed our hats, scarves, and coats. At the first stop we did not leave our backpacks/purses on the trolley for fear that we would not be sitting in the same seats, so we were lugging them through the graveyard, just to come back and be seated in the same seats. At the second stop the driver made an announcement that we could leave our personal belongings on the trolley. My suggestion would be to ask up front as you board, so that you aren't questioning it like we did. I happened to have cash and was happy to give the crew a generous tip at the end. Just a reminder to bring along a little cash if you are a tipper.

5.00Excellent and so much fun! Our guides were spooky and theatrical in the very best way and we loved every minute of it. If you like “after dark experiences”, you won’t be disappointed.
A little hokey, wish there was more to it.

3.00We did the evening tour. As we were boarding, I noticed two large windows open in the front and asked the attendant if they could close them since it was the mid 40's out. They didn't get closed and we froze until the first stop. I asked the bus driver this time, who finally closed them. The tour guide was very energetic but wore a face mask as part of her costume? Unfortunately, with her rapid speech and higher pitch voice, it was very difficult to hear a lot of what she had to say, even more so when using the microphone. She had some good information from what I did hear. They brought us to a couple graveyards and gave some interesting information. There was another guide waiting in one of the graveyards for additional information. He was a bit more entertaining. My companion thought the tour was a bit comedic and not serious enough. The tour, with walking and the couple stops, lasted just over an hour and half. With the amount of information provided, they probably could have done it in half the time. I did it once, no need to do it again.

5.00Maliky was amazing and was very informative. I enjoyed the history and the sites. Would definitely recommend this tour. The costumes were great.
