5.00I thought the Go City Pass was an excellent way to see the different activities in Boston. I know it saved us around $100 based on which activities we chose to do. All we had to do was scan the app when we got to an attraction and we were good to go.

2.00I practically lost money buying this pass. The trips are too long to take advantage of the unlimited pass for days (Plymouth and Salem are very far away, and if you decide to go to either of those places, it's practically impossible to do anything else that day). In Boston, almost everything closed between 3 and 5 p.m. On the other hand, I decided to go to Salem on my last day (Tuesday) and the experience was very bad, as the witch museum and the Peabody were closed, so I wasted my trip to that city.

5.00I was able to enter each attraction without any hassle, which made the experience very enjoyable. The Museum of Science offered plenty to see and explore. Although the Sports Museum required scheduling, we were still able to visit on the same day. Boston View was especially impressive you could see the entire city beautifully lit with Christmas lights at night. Crowd sizes were manageable, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

4.00We have enjoyed our time with the package over 3 days. It has more than paid for itself -after one day. Two things need to be said. Go to Boston Commons Visitor Center and get a map for City Tours. We walked for awhile trying to find the hookup and start touring. Review your visits before hand and make reservations. (Harvard Tour, Rooftop Viewing,…) . It is good to use the City Trolley, the grey bus) for help getting to some of the outer perimeter activities and to sit for a moment. Plymouth is well worth the excursion. It is approximately 1 hour of drive time from Boston.The pass pays for all three activities. LaLa was an exceptional guide. Have fun! 🤩

4.00It was a good value for all we got. Because of the Government shut down, not all sights were open. Not their fault. But what sights were open was good. The trolley tour was a little hokey, that’s why I gave it 4 stars.
Hard work to get the most out of the pass

3.00Overall this appears to be a good option, but it requires a lot of work and planning to make the most of it. I took a 3 day pass and planned out my activities only to find a lit of restrictions. For example, while there are many Freedom Trail tours, they are restricted to certain times using the pass. The Hop on/off bus is okay, but has limitations. Also, be aware some of the tour operators only allow 1 use per day for the pass. I had planned 2 per day (lunch and evening tour) but had to skip them or pay for them separately After a lot of juggling things around I managed to get a lot of use of the pass, but it needs a LOT of planning, and then lots of getting from a to b (good amount of walking). There are also some key things that are not included, such as Febway Park tour.

4.00Good value, we did the Trolley bus, Harbour Cruise, view from prudential, Salem witch museum, freedom trail tour & Harvard tour. There are lots of other walking tours & museums , but we find museums boring. Go City was good value. Worked out what it would cost for each & made it work , 5 days $125 each. Also bought Tea Party & Red Sox tkts. Boston is brilliant 🤩

4.00Great option if you’re planning on spending a few days in Boston/ Salem. It was a choose your own adventure experience that gave us the ability to customize our visit. Lots of great museums/ history tours. My only complaint would be what is offered for “the House of Seven Gables” in Salem. With this pass you only get the grounds not the house tour and we ended up paying full price for the house tour. I think it would be nice if you only had to pay the difference to get the house tour included.

5.00Lots of great choices of events and easy to use. Great bargain for the events! We really enjoyed being able to use the passes in Salem and in Boston.
