Our starting cycling point is in small inland village in the central part of the island.
Return car transfer from Hvar town to starting cycling point (and back) is not included.

A Cycle-Hvar story
Stari Grad
We begin the Cycle-Hvar story in ancient Stari Grad and set out to explore the north side of the island. In the epically portrayed streets of this oldest Hvar capital, we depict our way through the centuries of living. From the central part of town, we move on to the ancient trail of the Greek Hora, i.e. UNESCO protected Stari Grad Plain, while we explore the oldest example of plotting in Europe.

5.00This was such a perfect day and the highlight of our trip so far! Grgo was kind, informative and so thoughtful. He tailored everything perfectly for our family. We loved seeing a part of the island we would never have found and seeing where real people live and work. The bikes were in excellent condition, most of the trip was car free and the areas with cars was very safe and slow for kids. Stopping at the family kanoba was the highlight for homemade food and family wine and olive oil! Honestly, a perfect day!

5.00Do not hesitate to book this tour company. We had an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Miko, was incredible—friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the history of Hvar and the surrounding areas. Pickup was seamless, and the bikes were in excellent condition. The tour was perfect for our family of four. We learned a great deal about the history of Croatia, especially Hvar, while visiting beautiful locations throughout the countryside. The tour ended at the family’s historic home, where we enjoyed local wine, meats, and cheese. After exploring Stari Grad on our own, the owner picked us up and drove us back to Hvar Town, even suggesting a stop at the castle, which was the perfect ending to our day. We highly recommend this company.

5.00Amazing day cycling around Hvar Island with Grgo! The bikes were in great condition and we were given helmets and a bottle of water before we set off from the family home to Stari Grad. Riding down the narrow streets of Stari Grad and learning about his family's farming as we rode past the Stari Grad plain and then a stop in the scenic Vrboska and a quick break in beautiful Jelsa for Gelato made for a perfect route. Finishing up with a bunch of tasty locally sourced treats (bread, cheese, meats, olive oil, sugared almonds and orange peel) plus the chance to sample several wines in the family wine cellar. It was a wonderful day and the highlight of my trip to Croatia!!

5.00This was such a fun way to explore and learn about Hvar. Grgo was very enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful, and you can tell he cares immensely about Hvar. We loved biking around Hvar with Grgo. This was a really special experience - the favorite of the trip.

5.00This was the highlight from our entire Croatian vacation. If you are debating whether to book with Grgo & Silvana, do not hesitate. They were easy and flexible to work with and so much fun. Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed our day with them in Hvar and it enabled us to see the parts of the island only locals know.

5.00Our family had the BEST day with Natural Hvar Tours. They perfectly tailored the day to fit what my 11 and 7 year old kids could handle on bikes. After a beautiful bike ride and walk through Stari Grad, we headed back to Grgo’s home where a delicious spread awaited us along with decorations and a cake to celebrate my son’s birthday. It was incredibly thoughtful and a birthday my son will never forget. Grgo’s kindness along with his love for his country made this one of our favorite days on our trip.

5.00Incredible experience all around! We floated into Stari Grad on a catamaran and Grgo picked us up in the morning at the marina for our tour for a really reasonable tranfer fee, less than a taxi AND you get to start hearing all of the great history and fun knowledge from the get-go. The price of the tour is WELL WORTH the personalized care, backstory of the whole island, the wine cellar, and it supports this local multi-multigenerational family-owned business. Wins-for-days.
Special, memorable and priceless bike tour

5.00Just wanted to give credit where credit is due. I emailed the company to book this tour last minute because the next day was 90 percent chance of rain and that day was our only chance to go on this tour. Silvana was able to book me and I was elated. Goran was our transfer driver and was very personable and we had great conversations. Vinko was our guide and was very knowledgeable, personable with generations of history and family on this island. It was getting dark before the tour was over and all of the sudden I see Goran on a scooter and Silvana in the van coming around the corner to protect us from the traffic both with there lights on guiding us back. Silvana follow in the rear and Goran took the front and we made it back safely and what a team effort. I will take the blame as we stopped in Stari Glad to have refreshments and I ordered a large beer 🍺 witch took some time to drink lol 😂 When we returned the staff Silvana, Goran and Grgo put together an amazing spread of Red, White, Rose wine and bread, meat and cheese to enjoy in their wine cave. I don’t want to leave out the other three amazing guests from Barbados 🇧🇧 that we had great company and conversations. We hope to visit them in Barbados in the future. Last but not least Grgo was our transfer driver back to Hvar and he filled us in on their family and culture on the Island all in all they work together to make us guest safe, comfortable and enjoyable. So thanks again to the whole staff that made that day memorable & priceless.
Cycling and Hiking

5.00We did two trips with Natural Hvar Tours, the cycling and the ‘Green’ hiking tour. We were very impressed with the activities and with Grgo’s personal touch. His enthusiasm for the island of Hvar is infectious and he has a great way of showing this amazing landscape and culture. We had some weather disruptions for our second day and Grgo was very flexible and accommodating with a change to get the best weather for our hike. Although it was hot weather, the hike was not arduous. We were taken by van to the high point and most of the trails were gently downhill. The contrast between the tourist trap in Hvar Town and the peaceful and authentic areas that we visited made our two trips well worth it. The added bonus is the genuine and sincere people that provide these tours.

5.00Grgo was a great tour guide and provided local information about the areas we passed through. Hearing the history of his family in the area was really interesting and his whole family was very welcoming in the end at their winery where we tasted their wine and local food. I would highly recommend the trip to anyone.
