  This tour is essentially just transportation to three locations. Nothing noteworthy or interesting about any of the sites is provided. There seems to be a lack of knowledge of the sites. The website website and we code card provided did not work. Disappointing. Canterbury: main shopping area with major shops you can find everywhere else. Boring. Cathedral admission not included. Cathedral visit was ok, but tour guide information would be much better. 2 hours allocated for this. 90 minutes is fine. Deal: useless. Run down seaside town. There are two small castles nearby. Walked to one, it was closed. Those should be the focus, as it is unique history. Cover white cliffs: Beautiful. More time should be allocated here. The driver told us there are stairs going down to the beach (Langdon stairs); everyone was excited; and then no one could find the stairs. I think the tour driver actually didn’t know. Finally found the gift shop keeper who told me that they are actually not stairs, he tried to describe them, but I think his description was not sufficient to find the path to the beach. This was a big let down for many of us. This would have been the highlight. I’ve done many tours via TripAdvisor in England, all wonderful. This one is a disappointment.

  Our guide, Liam, was very knowledgeable about the places we visited. He also gave good recommendations for food and things to see at every stop. The vehicle we traveled in was clean and comfortable.

  This was a great day out expertly guided by Kevin. His commentary on the areas visited was very insightful and his tips for tourists were practical and much appreciated. Plan your day in Canterbury to make most of the stop there if you don’t want to pay the entrance fee for the Cathedral. The White Cliffs of Dover were spectacular and it was good to see the busy English channel port nearby. I’m so glad I did this day trip with Go Tours. Well organised and professional outfit. Thanks Kevin !

  Kevin , our tour guide was the best. Was very informative and funny. He made the day so much more interesting. It was a beautiful day so we were able to see France from the Cliffs of Dover. The city of Canterbury was charming and the Cathedral was amazing. Highly recommend this tour.

  This was a really great tour. Our tour guide Kevin was a wealth of knowledge and I don’t think most people on the bus appreciated it. The White Cliffs are spectacular. Wish we could have had more time to explore there. Canterbury is a beautiful town. The Cathedral is pretty amazing. The little seaside town of Deal is quaint and had good Fish and Chips. I am definitely going to book with this tour company again. It is more intimate with a small group. Hopefully I get Kevin again and next time I will sit up front so I can have conversation and learn more. All in all a great tour 10 out of 10.

  This tour has potential but under delivered . maybe it was partially due to the rain, but the Cliffs of Dover were not as impressive as we thought they would be. Canterbury was also not as impressive nor met our expectations. The tour did not wow us, wasn’t enough on guidance , history or places of interest . Not a fulfilling trip, it was basically drive to Canterbury go on your own visiting the town get back on the bus go visit the Cliffs get back on the bus.

  Just enough time at each location! We were amazed at the beauty of Canterbury ( buy tickets to the cathedral online while on the bus… so you can go right to the gate and not have to wait in line when you get there) and the White Cliffs. Make sure to be prepared for any type of weather… umbrella, jacket, sunglasses! Our guide Jamie was GREAT… he was professional, knowledgeable, entertaining and patient. We had a family that spoke Spanish and thought this tour was in Spanish… however was in English. Jamie was amazing to accommodate them speaking as much Spanish as he could… kudos to you Jamie! This was a great tour: highly recommend!
