Rushed day with not much adventure

3.00Lots of road works since Cyclone Jasper several years ago, tour operations haven't amended tour schedules. We were encouraged constantly to move quickly through the sites and to take quick toilet breaks. Lunch was a very fast 22 minutes from leaving the bus to being hurried back on to the bus to continue our tour. No real fruit tasting or relaxing lunch, no time for a coffee, very disappointing, I would have liked to spend more time at the Tea hut. The entire morning trip was rushed. The morning tea, Visitors Centre and the swim at Mossman Gouge. A very dissapointing day. I was really looking foward to experiencing everything that was advertised while I was visiting Cairns.

5.00Enjoyed a day trip from Cairns to Mossman gorge, Daintree rainforest and Cape tribulation, plus crocodile spotting river cruise. It's a big day, but well organised. Including nice morning tea, and very good lunch. John was our guide for the day: safe and professional driver, fun and informative commentary throughout the journey - helped make it an entertaining day. If you want to experience these world class natural wonders, I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00Brilliant full day tour! One of my fave experiences in Australia so far. Saw everything I wanted to and more. Carsten was a great guide, lots of facts and really seemed to be enjoying the day which makes a big difference. Lunch and ice cream were both amazing, lots of new foods to try and good quality. Well organised too.

4.00The sites and stops are nice but a good part of the day is spent driving from place to place However , if you’re lucky and have Scottie as your guide the time in the van is well spent as he was a wealth of information !! Made the whole day that much better

5.00John was a fantastic and informative guide who brought energy from start to finish. The stops themselves were beautiful, the swim, the lookout, and the morning tea scones were all divine. Lunch was delicious, and we learned about and tasted lots of tropical fruits. Betty’s ice cream was absolutely worth a try! We even spotted some crocodiles, truly a day that kept on giving. Thanks, John, for making it such a great experience!
Too much time on a bus

1.00Too long, too much time on a bus. We estimate we spent 4-5 hours on the bus traveling to/from attractions. Highlight of the day was lunch and the individual that provided it gave interesting explanations of the food used. We spent an hour on a 'river cruise' looking for crocodiles that were in the mud, so boring. Our guide, Terry, tried to keep up the 'patter' as we spent so much time on the bus, but was too long. The Daintree rain forest was interesting, Cape Tribulation was not.

5.00We had a lovely day. Steve was a very good guide and kept us well informed and entertained All the activities were of high quality and it was a fabulous introduction to Daintree - and the lunch was perfect, tasty and with an educational element . Highly recommended
