Today, the forest that once surrounded his workshop has flourished into a protected sanctuary filled with birdsong and native bush. With sweeping views from the EyeFull Tower and stories shared by your guide, this tour connects art, nature, and Kiwi ingenuity in a way you won’t find anywhere else.

A local craftsman built this railroad basically by himself by hand. So incredible the love that went into his project. He was a self taught engineer and potter.

What a strange place. A narrow gauge railway that runs up through the forest. The views are spectacular. The double decker bridge might even be unique. My daughters took the zip line back down (8 separate ziplines) and enjoyed that very much also.

What an amazingly quirky experience. The railway climbs up through native bush to a fabulous view, but the star is the railway! One man’s dream come to life and enhanced by crazy pottery sculptures all along the route. This is a must do!

Well worth the visit, such history in the area around how the train line was build, maintained and continuous improvements that are being implemented to improve the experience. It is a unique experience and the views are amazing. The staff are knowledgeable, and very friendly and ensure everyone is aware of what to do and when. You go through tunnels, over bridges, over a double viaduct, have reverse points and then get about 10mins to take in the views at the Eyefull Tower. It is an attraction not to be missed when in the area
