5.00Janet gave us history of the island and all her favorite eating and drinking places. We had a great time and met some really nice people. The mini beer and painkiller drinks great, the food on Catalina was ok but nothing to write home about. I would recommend this excursion to friends.

5.00Janet(seasoned guide) and Bobby(almost done with training guide) were knowledgeable and gave some interesting history. Local facts also covered. Food was excellent. Alcohol with 3 of the 4 stops. Arrived starving and finished stuffed.

5.00This is a MUST DO tour! DO NOT EAT OR GET BOOZY BEFORE THIS TOUR. Janet is the best tour guide we have ever had! She is a local and is funny, knowledgeable of Catalina history, and took us to the best local food/drink places on the island. The food was plentiful and delicious! The drinks were new to us, unique, and tasty! We loved the dive bar and will be going back. This tour is worth every penny and we thought it was a bargain for what we had. You will be full and feeling groovy by the end of the tour. You will also have new friends. Janet makes this tour special with a lot of laughter and personalized attention.

2.00Crazy expensive for what you get. We stopped at five places, and at each one you only receive small bites and drinks. If you don’t drink alcohol (like me), it’s even less worth it. The last stop was a dive bar and was pretty mediocre. You could easily spend half the money and do this on your own. There wasn’t much history shared, and Carole didn’t seem very enthusiastic or engaged as a tour guide. Overall, I’d save your money. The only standout was the clam chowder at The Lobster Trap—but even that was just a small cup.
