  The day trip was good overall, and we had a pleasant experience. The guide was friendly and approachable, which made the trip more enjoyable. One small suggestion is that the time spent at each stop felt a little too long. I think the experience would be even better if the trip could start a bit later and return a bit earlier. Overall, it was still a nice day trip.

  Expedigo is the tour provider and they were great. They communicated well before pickup, during the trip, and after the trip. Our guide was nice and helpful. We had a nice, long walk to the beach and then took the boat back. So glad the boat option (separate fee) was available because not sure if we would have been able to walk back. The sceneries were just as spectacular as in photos.

  Good evening, Aaron was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. His knowledge of the area, friendly personality, and genuine care for everyone on the tour made the whole day feel special. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, informed, and enjoying every moment. You can really tell he’s passionate about what he does, and it made a huge difference to the overall experience. The way he guided us through Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach was seamless, relaxed, and enjoyable. Nothing felt rushed, and he made sure we got the most out of each stop. • See Some of New Zealand’s Beautiful Nature

  A great way to see some of the beautiful nature that New Zealand has to offer. The Hot Water beach was a great experience. Aaron is a friendly and knowledgeable guide!

• A very nice tour that needs just a little tweaking

  The scenery itself is incredible, but especially at Cathedral Cove we felt that there wasn't enough time given to a) take the fairly strenuous hike down&back up b) eat lunch and c) be able to just "be" at this incredible place. It didn't help that there was a lot of road construction which is of course not on the tour company, but they might consider giving an extra 30 minutes or so to the Cathedral Cove portion of the tour, even if it means a bit less time at Hot Water Beach. Hot Water Beach was nice, and the tour guide worked hard to help dig down to the thermal water pool, but again I'd rather have had more time at Cathedral Cove and maybe a little less at Hot Water Beach. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and a safe driver through all the above-mentioned construction and sometimes thrilling roads on the tour. The packed lunch was also very good. Overall it was a very nice trip, and left us with time to explore Auckland in the evening. Recommended!

  Jaime was such a great guide and honestly made the whole Coromandel trip such a fun and easy day. He picked us up bright and early and kept the vibe going from the start — even the coffee stop at the Bugger Cafe had us laughing 😂 The drive could’ve felt long with all the winding roads, but Jaime made it really enjoyable, pointing out things along the way like the forests, mountains, mānuka trees, and even saw where kiwis grow. You can tell he really knows the area and loves what he does. Despite the rain, our stop at Cathedral Cove was still absolutely stunning and definitely worth it. Then heading to Hot Water Beach was such a cool experience — digging our own hot pool in the sand was something we’ll never forget! Jaime kept everything running smoothly without ever making it feel rushed and made sure everyone was having a good time. Such an amazing day all round — couldn’t have asked for a better guide!   The trip was a lot of fun, the beaches were breathtaking and Liam went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a good time. We loved it and recommend this tour to everyone. The “walk” to the cove is more of a hike so I would caution anyone that struggles with strenuous exercise or take a boat when they are running.

  A great day away from tbe beautiful city of Auckland. Our tour director, Liam, was very prompt in picking us up. Our vehicle was very comfortable. Liam was very friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgable of New Zealand and the surrounding area. We had a nice pace throughout the tour. The beach was very beautiful and great for swimming. We were provided a nice lunch with beverages. Also included were snacks and an ice cream stop. The hot sand beach was awesome and a great experience. Plenty of time to enjoy the hoe pools. A fun time.
