1.00Looking forward to the Gondola ride. However it started to rain hard, thunder and lightning and the wind was blowing strong. Our group waited 10 minutes to see if the would weather dies down. But it didn’t We were approached by our tour guide Victoria indicated we can rescheduled or request a refund. Unfortunately we couldn’t reschedule because of conflicting circumstances. So we told her will request a refund. We were also told to contact Viator which we did. Viator out in a refund request to Venice Tours. We did stop by Venice tours but we received no help from the representatives and they were rude. Still waiting on confirmation on refund.
Experience Venice in a very unique way.

3.00Gondola fares are standardized in Venice; however, I booked the experience and paid more to A) have a reserved time and not worry about lines, and B) as it was advertised to be an enhanced experience. The history of gondola travel provided prior to the ride was nice, and we appreciated the set time (though plenty of gondolas were available when we were there). However, the ride itself wasn't enhanced at all. The operator didn't engage or interact, and instead carried on conversations with other nearby gondola operators. Could have paid half the amount for an identical, and possibly better, experience.

3.00We were at the meeting point well ahead of time, but no one there. Tried to call, got to some AI voice that couldn’t help, when asking for an operator the call got cut off. Luckily there was another tour guide there that could direct us to a completely different spot. There we got told off for being late… The actual tour was good and the guide very nice and knowledgeable.

4.00Finding the meeting point was a bit tricky as we were provided with an address but there was no mention of the name of the tour office. I just popped in to ask if they knew where I needed to go and said I was at the right place. The gondola ride was nice and it was perfect weather!

3.00I read and reread the posting and I wish it would have said it was a 10 minute walk to the start of the ride. Also give people an opportunity/time to visit the gift shop prior to the ride. The ride starts and ends elsewhere so you would have to find your way back on your own to visit the giftshop.

5.00Our gondola driver was singing. He was also very funny and our ride fun. He was also a very experienced driver.
Do not book- tour guide didn’t show up and refused refund!!

1.00Appalled at my experience with this tour group. We showed up 20 mins earlier (they state it is mandatory to show up 10 mins early) we went to the exact meeting point. There was another couple waiting too. No one showed up. We waited 20 mins past the meeting time and we had to go because we had a train to catch. I tried phoning 4 times and no answer. I got through to Viator and got told they would phone me. No one ever has. I then requested a full refund ( we spent over £100) and they have said the tour operator has rejected the refund. I don’t even know how this is allowed. We are devastated by this experience and we are down money for fault of our own. I will continue to try and contact them until they give me my money back. Really really awful experience.

5.00A pleasant moment in shared gondola, quiet, according to the small canals. Before that, an interesting introduction with virtual reality experience on ancient Venice and then explanations about the history of the gondolas by our adorable Beatriz guide, very smiling and enthusiastic.
I could have paid cheaper for the kind of service

3.00The gondolier wasn't explaining where we are and whats the itinerary so we know what to expect. He was nice to answers our questions though. Its not worth the money for only 30mins but the Gondola gallery museum was cool. So i would think of it as just fair overall.
