This chef-guided market tour takes a journey through Pacific Northwest culture by tasting Seattle’s best artisan vendors in the famous Pike Place Market. Enjoy diverse tastings at 9 different locations— and food options like chocolate covered cherries, chowder, and much more. All groups are kept to 12 guests to ensure easier navigation of the market, more tastings, and a better platform to ask questions and interact with the group. Leave with a 10% discount card to shop and explore after the tour.
*Note that tours stops may adjust depending on time of year and guide.
This is a walking tour that does require a moderate amount of physical fitness due to distance, small hills, stairs and cobblestone terrain.
This is a market tour that includes walking/standing and not a restaurant tour with a variety of food alternatives and sitting opportunities.

Meeting Location: is 1600 First Ave outside of Simply Seattle. We meet on the street. Chef will be wearing a chef coat
Gratuities (optional) are not included in the price
Please arrive 10 minutes early. Once the tour leaves the starting point we cannot catch you up as it is a moving tour and guides choose their own routes.
Eat Seattle is permitted and licensed by the Pike Place Market PDA to operate tours in the Pike Place Historical District. The PDA requires any business or person conducting tours within it’s properties and in the public areas of the historical district to be pre-approved and to have a license for this activity.
There is a paid parking garage located at 1531 Western Ave. If you require parking, leave lots of extra time. The lot could be closed due to over capacity in the Summer. We don't recommend driving for this reason..
In the event of a non-appearance for any reason, we regret to inform you that rescheduling or refunding will not be feasible.

Simply Seattle
We meet outside of Simply Seattle located at 1600 First Ave. That's First Ave and Pine Street. The tour leaves right on time and we won't be able to catch you up if you're late. If you're driving, leave lots of extra time to park.

5.00This whole experience was wonderful! Will was an awesome tour guide. The atmosphere was very casual. He provided lots of insider information about both the history of the shops we stopped at and Seattle itself. Each stop had amazing food and the group we went with was wonderful. Fish throwing, truffles, cheese, etc and opportunities for shopping built in. I was overwhelmed at the choices available so having a chef as a tour guide simplified the entire thing for us. Will said they change this tour up every once in a while so I can’t wait to see what the next tour has in store. Definitely give it a try!

5.00We had a great tour with Will. He was experienced and friendly. We got a great variety of food, nine different places to eat. You will not leave hungry. Will is super.

5.00We did this tour with friends visiting from out of state. Will introduced us to many different foods and gave us inside knowledge from his experience as a chef. The vendors we met were enthusiastic about their products and everything was delicious! Definitely recommend this tour and would do more tours with Eat Seattle in the future!

4.00Our tour guide was Will. He was exceptional. He knew all the ins and out of the market and was able to take us to extra stops for different group members specific interest. He had a great relationship with the all the vendors we visited and were happy to host our group. Will was engaging and was able to to talk about local facts and history throughout the tour.
Sunday tasting tour of the market. Relaxed, informative and delicious!

5.00We have visited PikePlace market many times but wanted to find some more of the lesser known spotd and hear more about the history of the market. This tour delivered BIG time. Our guide Jonathan was knowledgeable, and the tour was just the right pace to keep things engaging without being rushed. The places we visited were all very friendly and samples were generous! We thoroughly enjoy our Sunday tour and met some cool new people! Thank you.

5.00Such a fabulous tour! Will was so knowledgeable and a great leader - he talked about everything I wanted to know and we tried all the foods I'd want to try! This is the best way to cover all the ground and flavors of pike place - we were too overwhelmed to have to choose just one thing for lunch!

5.00Awesome experience. We’ve done a few of these types of tours around the world and this one might have been the best. Will was our host and he brought great energy and really knew the backstory of each vendor we visited. It’s a great value, make sure you come hungry because you get a ton of food!

5.00Super fun to walk around and taste test especially what seattle is known for like the Seattle dog. Very lively area with just abiut anything you are in the mood for. Highly recommend this tour.

3.00The guide, Scotty, was low energy. It was hard to hear him at times. He provided good info at each food stop for a few minutes and then went silent so lots of down time. We have taken many tours and guides generally fill the time with additional info and history.
