This chef-guided market tour takes a journey through Pacific Northwest culture by tasting Seattle’s best artisan vendors in the famous Pike Place Market. Enjoy diverse tastings at 9 different locations— and food options like chocolate covered cherries, chowder, and much more. All groups are kept to 12 guests to ensure easier navigation of the market, more tastings, and a better platform to ask questions and interact with the group. Leave with a 10% discount card to shop and explore after the tour.

This is a walking tour that does require a moderate amount of physical fitness due to distance, small hills, stairs and cobblestone terrain.
This is a market tour that includes walking/standing and not a restaurant tour with a variety of food alternatives and sitting opportunities.

Meeting Location: is 1600 First Ave outside of Simply Seattle. We meet on the street. Chef will be wearing a chef coat
Gratuities (optional) are not included in the price
Please arrive 10 minutes early. Once the tour leaves the starting point we cannot catch you up as it is a moving tour and guides choose their own routes.
Eat Seattle is permitted and licensed by the Pike Place Market PDA to operate tours in the Pike Place Historical District. The PDA requires any business or person conducting tours within it’s properties and in the public areas of the historical district to be pre-approved and to have a license for this activity.
There is a paid parking garage located at 1531 Western Ave. If you require parking, leave lots of extra time. The lot could be closed due to over capacity in the Summer. We don't recommend driving for this reason..
In the event of a non-appearance for any reason, we regret to inform you that rescheduling or refunding will not be feasible.

We meet outside of Simply Seattle located at 1600 First Ave. That's First Ave and Pine Street. The tour leaves right on time and we won't be able to catch you up if you're late. If you're driving, leave lots of extra time to park.

5.00This experience was fantastic. At first we thought, surely we could do this on our own but we're so glad that we opted for the tour. Jonathan was great, personalzing the tour. The food was excellent and allowed us to skip a few lines.

3.00Tour Giuide-Scott- have good history and information on the foodat each stop. Their was ample amount of sampling. However, since at Pike Street would have liked more stops at fish/seafood places. In addition, the samples we got were small- for example the chowder given was in the size of a fast food ketchup container, a cookie that was cut up into four pieces, and a hot dog cut in half. I know he needs to make a profit, but charge me $10 to $20 more, and give me a decent sampling. Left food Tour still thinking I needed Lunch.

5.00This foods tour of the Pike Market was a fabulous experience! Our guide, Jonathon, brought us to several spots in the market and were able to try generous portions of their specialties. Do come HUNGRY to this tour! An added bonus was by-passing some long lines AND talking with the owners themselves who talked about their products and processes. Jonathon also shared interesting history about market and the Seattle waterfront. I highly recommend this tour—double bonus for you if Jonathon is your guide!

5.00This was a great tour. I picked it last minute and felt comfortable from the moment I arrived. Will spoke clearly and loud enough to be heard. The tour had a good amount of walking, but nothing overly strenuous. The stops were phenomenal. Guide was excellent. I’d do it again, and will definitely recommend.
