This chef-guided market tour takes a journey through Pacific Northwest culture by tasting Seattle’s best artisan vendors in the famous Pike Place Market. Enjoy diverse tastings at 9 different locations— and food options like chocolate covered cherries, chowder, and much more. All groups are kept to 12 guests to ensure easier navigation of the market, more tastings, and a better platform to ask questions and interact with the group. Leave with a 10% discount card to shop and explore after the tour.
*Note that tours stops may adjust depending on time of year and guide.
This is a walking tour that does require a moderate amount of physical fitness due to distance, small hills, stairs and cobblestone terrain.
This is a market tour that includes walking/standing and not a restaurant tour with a variety of food alternatives and sitting opportunities.

Meeting Location: is 1600 First Ave outside of Simply Seattle. We meet on the street. Chef will be wearing a chef coat

Please arrive 10 minutes early. Once the tour leaves the starting point we cannot catch you up as it is a moving tour and guides choose their own routes.
Eat Seattle is permitted and licensed by the Pike Place Market PDA to operate tours in the Pike Place Historical District. The PDA requires any business or person conducting tours within it’s properties and in the public areas of the historical district to be pre-approved and to have a license for this activity.
There is a paid parking garage located at 1531 Western Ave. If you require parking, leave lots of extra time. The lot could be closed due to over capacity in the Summer. We don't recommend driving for this reason..
In the event of a non-appearance for any reason, we regret to inform you that rescheduling or refunding will not be feasible.

We meet outside of Simply Seattle located at 1600 First Ave. That's First Ave and Pine Street. The tour leaves right on time and we won't be able to catch you up if you're late. If you're driving, leave lots of extra time to park.

5.00Our chef tour guide Will made the tasting experience extraordinary. As a chef and a local, he was able to bring the culinary world of Seattle to life. Loved the foods, and there was a lot, and meeting some of the people behind the scenes. He accommodated members of the group who had food allergies or dietary restrictions. Again, Will loved his job and city as we toured the area.

5.00Enjoyed the tour aspect of the experience. Our guide was very nice and friendly. The tastings I thought could have been better put together. I was expecting sampling of prepared dishes.

5.00The meet up was super easy and Will was very welcoming. We were lucky to have a smaller group so he was able to chat with each of us and make us feel comfortable. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about the businesses we had samples from. HIGHLY recommend - we had enough food that we cancelled dinner reservations made for a few hours after our tour. Also - if you have an allergy or sensitivity - don’t count yourself out for this tour. They are so accommodating and do everything possible to get alternative options.

1.00Was told my dairy allergy would only affect 1 food sample during the tour. It turned out to be 3 samples and then the “chef” tour guide argued with me about actually having a dairy allergy and tried to talk me into eating a sample with butter in it. His behavior (Sylas) was outrageous, offensive, & emotionally damaging. He should listen, not judge customers.

3.00Be careful when the tour company charges your card when you don’t pay upfront. Caused me to accidentally book twice with no refund given. The tour guide was very good.

5.00Will was a great guide. Food selection was amazing. One of the best food tours I've ever been to. Skipping-the-line was pretty useful. Good pace, everything close by.
