Full-Day Chianti Wine Safari. - If you dream of a classic Chianti experience, this full-day tour is for you! Departing from Florence, you’ll travel deep into the Chianti Classico wine region, famous for its Sangiovese-based wines and breathtaking vineyard-covered hills. We had a great time on the Tuscan wine tour. I would recommend if you are interested in seeing the countryside. Great escape from the city. Only thing is the meetup is actually in front of the train station.

Very different from other wine tours! This tour takes you deep into the Chianti country. The historic villa at the first winery was amazing and the wines were delicious! Then we went further and had dinner at a restaurant that was quaint, with a breathtaking view while we ate outside! Food and wine also delicious! Safari bus took us up the winding roads through the forest of trees along the way! An experience worth the trip!! Highly recommend.

Our driver Chris and wine guide Sarah were awesome! The views on this tour were out of a movie and Sarah was super insightful. Would absolutely reccomend.

A wonderful trip into the gorgeous Chianti Classico countryside and a visit with an expert and friendly guide (Ms. Ginerva from Walkabout Florence Tours) and a highly competent driver (Mr. Sergio). We got to see the countryside (a welcome break from the busy city) and visit an exclusive Chianti Classico vineyard, learning many details of the Chianti Classico wine-making and savouring process. We also enjoyed a wonderful and delicious Tuscan lunch. The ride on the comfortable, 4-wheel drive minibus lent a unique experience that most other wine tours don't offer.

Very good experience! Historic vineyard with gorgeous views, learnt history of vineyard, about winemaking etc and then tasted some great wines. We then had lunch at a brilliant local restaurant - Oz was great, you’d be lucky to have her as a guide!
No air-conditioning on the bus

There was absolutely no air-conditioning on the bus people were sweating and opening up windows to get some air even though it was 90° outside, it felt cooler than on the bus. I did this tour two years ago and it was a completely different experience. They took us to one vineyard and then lunch and then right back home and we also had to walk about half a mile to our bus which was not described in the tour description. The main part is the fact that there was no air-conditioning and that is complete false advertisement. They had waters that you could purchase on the bus, but to be honest after spending this amount of money on the tour to be forced to pay for water felt absurd. Our tour guide was also awful. I forgot her name but she barely spoke to us was on her phone the entire time and it was just not an experience I would do again. In 2024 it was absolutely amazing this time it was a completely different experience I felt robbed.

We adored this tour. Even though it sounded good which is why we booked it, so many times reality doesn’t match expectations. This time all four of us were beyond thrilled with the experience. Our guide, Oz, was wonderful and helpful to us as we went through the experience. Even though the tour states no accommodation for allergies, Oz arranged a wonderful gluten free experience at both locations. I loved that we drove through the town Machiavelli lived on our way to the first vineyard. I can see why people fall in love with Tuscany, it is picture perfect. We had the best time and have memories for a lifetime. Thanks again to Oz!
