Sri Kailasanathar Swami Devasthanam is one of the oldest and most significant Hindu temples in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Lotus Tower is a 350 m (1,150 ft) tall tower, located in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It has been called a symbolic landmark of Sri Lankas's of 2019, the tower is the tallest self-supported structure in South Asia; the second tallest structure in South Asia after the guy-wire-supported INS Kattabomman in India; the 11th tallest tower in Asia and the 19th tallest tower in the world.It was first proposed to be built in the suburb of Peliyagoda but later the Government of Sri Lanka decided to change the location.The lotus-shaped tower is used for communication, observation and other leisure facilities. Construction is estimated to have cost USD 113 million.

5.00It was a Sunday and relatively quiet which was good seeing everything and for listening to the guide. collected on time and at each stop given plenty of time for photographs. Guide/driver was calm and knowledgable. Religious stops were best and much old British Colonial history. Overall everything the itinerary expected

5.00I cannot recommend Ricky highly enough—he is an absolutely brilliant and knowledgeable guide! The tour of Colombo was fantastic; we managed to cover all the important sites and immerse ourselves in the local markets, which was exactly what I wanted. As a female traveler exploring the city alone, safety was a priority, and I was hesitant to venture deep into the bustling markets by myself. Ricky immediately put all my concerns at ease. He provided so much history and information about every location, and his friendly, professional manner ensured I felt completely comfortable and secure throughout the entire experience. Ricky is super friendly, incredibly informative, and clearly takes great pride in showing visitors the real heart of Colombo. He is a truly fantastic guide, and I would absolutely recommend him again!
