With exclusive access you will enter the Colosseum through the Gladiator’s Gate, walking directly onto the arena floor. Experience the grandeur of the arena from a unique perspective, as you stand where the gladiators once stood, when they walked out to the sounds of thousands of yelling spectators.
Your licensed tour guide will bring to life the exciting and shocking events that took place where you now stand. Enjoy an up-close view of the underground chambers exposed below, wander through the vast corridors, and climb the ancient stone stairs of this magnificent amphitheater, as you learn of its rich history.

Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the tour
• Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
• Toilets are limited, use the toilet before arriving for the tour. (Breaks made when possible)
• No weapons (pocket knives), glass bottles or large backpacks
• Tours will run rain or shine (unless closed for safety reasons)
There are mandatory security checks al all entry points to the sites. The wait time time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line
The names provided at the time of the booking cannot be changed.
The itinerary may vary, the tour may start at either the Colosseum or the Roman Forum.

4.00At the last minute the tour group found out that our guide couldn’t go with us in the colosseum which sucked because we really didn’t know what we were looking at most of the time. But she was with us at the Forum and that part was very interesting. We stopped a few times to fill our water bottles and use the restroom. It was a good tour but disappointing that she couldn’t come with us in the colosseum.

1.00Absolutely awful! Tour changed meeting time at last minute, and I did not get the message because I did not have roaming on my cell phone. Missed the tour and had to pay extra to still see sites while I was there. Abysmal!!!!!!!!!!! I would never take again, and I have traveled and toured for decades and NEVER written a review for any tour company before.

Guides not permitted inside colosseum

2.00The forum portion of the tour was great. However, we were mostly interested in a guided tour of the colosseum. A couple days before the tour, we received a message that we would not be guided through the colosseum due to the guides being not permitted. We received a 20% discount on the ticket but even then we believe it was overpriced since that was our main interest.

3.00This company cannot take you into the colosseum because they are not authorized by governing body. We had to tour the coloseum on our own, though our guide did try ti help us understand a little of what we would see. Visiting Palantine Hill and the palaces was underwhelming because our guide seem to be more interested in finding shade then walking us through the site with sufficient explanation. We would sit and talk about the site instead of see the site.

5.00While there was a slight change from having the coliseum tour guided; the overall experience was very positive and it didn’t feel that we missed much. Our tour guide provided excellent information and context for the different Roman sites.

1.00Was not worth the cost or time. We scheduled a 2:30 pm tour following with a colosseum tour around 4:00 pm. They changed my time on me at the last minute which screwed up the rest of our plans that day. I called and complained and the response I got was there is nothing they could do. Very poorly run operation.
