See the best of both(Old town and Dubrovnik 's surrounding) and learn interesting history and filming details. This tour is divided into two segments – the walking part of the tour and the driving part of the tour.
On the walking part of the tour, our guide Katja (costume designer from set) will take you through locations in Dubrovnik and have prepared a lot of behind-the-scenes stories for you. Walking tour is 2 hours long. You will take amazing photos,learn about history of this magnifcant city and have fun like never before!
On the driving portion of the tour (3 hour long), you will be taken to Trsteno botanical garden (18 km outside city),the oldest garden in Europe and Srdj hill ( same hill where cable-car goes). Drop off is included (if it is in Dubrovnik or Cruise port). You will be transported in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Brsalje Street

Lovrjenac Fortress
Before we start doing stairs to St Lawrence fort, you'll be shown scenes taken at King's Landing port ant Bay of Blackwatter. In Lovrijenac akk.Red Keep, after showing scenes filmed there, you will have a 10 minute break for taking photos, there is also a restroom in the fort. From top terrace we will enjoy great views on Lokrum island and City wall ( a lot of scenes were filmed there too). Have in mind there are some stairs to be taken to the top, but the guide will not rush you, pace of the tour is relaxed, but if you feel at any point you won't be able to climb to the top, let the guide know so you can rejoice with the group later. Entrance price is 50 kunas (approximately 7 euros) per person. Read less

5.00Katia & Mario were both great. Loved visiting the gardens, some of the iconic Tyrell scenes were filmed. Honestly fulfilled my dream of seeing the real “Kings Landing” Also appreciated getting recommendations of where to eat around old town! Tried few of the places and they’ve been delicious!

5.00If you’ve seen Game of Thrones this tour is a must. Both Katia and Mario were so knowledgeable about the show and the history of Dubrovnik. The beauty inside the walls as well as the gardens and city views was spectacular!!

5.00So much more than expected! Not just a tour of GOT locations, but a deeply personalised insight into the filming process, putting you right on the set, even down to camera positions and the backstage gossip by someone who was actually working there, plus an understanding of how the film industry impacts the local culture and economy. In the afternoon the visit to the botanical gardens also provided an education about the flora of the region, and how it impacted the incredible history of Dubrovnik and the region. The absolute highlight of an amazing visit; if you don’t do this trip you will have seriously missed out. Seriously!

5.00Katja and Mario were very professional and full of energy. There were 2 portions to our tour. The walking part had us visit the different filming locations of the game of thrones series. To be honest, I would have been lost without the tour guides explanations. Hollywood changes so much of the filming locations sometimes for their story lines, it would have been impossible to find the places on my own. With the guides explanations, pictures and background of the whole process, the sightseeing became much more enjoyable. Also, the hearing devices makes the tour much more enjoyable. Tour guide says that the area law requires it, but it also really enhanced the experience since I could hear every word. The second part of the tour had us go Lady Olenna’s garden scenes. It’s a nice arboretum to walk around. Again, without the guide’s comments, you would be hard pressed to find the exact locations. Mario had a good knowledge of the plant life of the area. He also gave a good explanation of the general history of Dubrovnik. Mario sent us all the way back to our cruise terminal saving us a trip from old town. My only regret is that I did not see the old town walls from the southeast side. I feel that really puts the town in a picturesque setting.

Also interesting perspectives on Croatia's history, present, culture and society. Outstanding personal, nice and fun.highly recommended! It can't get any better!
