Visit the Caribbean Rainforest, learn the San Lorenzo Fort history and observe the new Panama Canal Locks.

Panama is home to 159 species of mammals, 98 species of reptiles, and 65 amphibious species. Among these are monkeys, sloths, anteaters, spider and caimans, crocodiles, and many snakes. This rainforest is an ecological paradise not to be missed! There are many stops included for photo opportunities. The tour continues on to the ruins of San Lorenzo Fort which is famous for repelling attacks by all the pirates of the Caribbean for almost 75 years, Your guide will expalin the history behind the famous ruins. Then you will stop at the new Canal Expansion: Agua Clara where you will observe how work the new Canal system with super tanker and big cargos ships transiting the new locks.

Amazing experience. Kenny was extremely knowledgeable and considerate. Took us to see the new and old canal locks at Gatun and Agua Clara and also into the rainforest to see a sloth and coatimundi. Also ended up going to San Lorenzo fort and chagres river. So very knowledgeable, no question too silly. Also very easy to find from cruise ship and they make sure to get you back on time, so if you're worried about booking an external cruise excursion, this is a good one to do.

Great excursion, smaller van with good AC, provided drinks and snacks. Tour guide was great with wonderful info. So glad i booked here instead of with Carnival. Picked up and dropped off close to the port.

The main reason we visited Panama was to see the canal and our guide, Milton, could not have been more friendly and informative. Added to that the fort is well worth a visit and Milton guided us through that too, giving a great and passionate history of Panama. Would thoroughly recommend!

This was a great excursion! The tour guide was super friendly and informative. Seeing a ship go through the locks from land was fabulous and a way better experience than going through the locks via the cruise ship. I highly recommend this excursion for a first time visit to the canal.
