Cu Chi Tunnels
Around 8:00AM or 12:10PM. Start with pickup from the center of Ho Chi Minh City or meet at the meeting point then depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. After 2-hour drive, we arrive at the Tunnels where You'll have the opportunity to explore the tunnel system, which includes narrow passageways, hidden entrances, and underground chambers. Learn about the daily life of the Cu Chi guerrilla fighters and how they managed to survive in the tunnels. You can crawl distances through the tunnels that were used by the guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam War. You may see kitchens, living quarters, among other things used during the war. Learn about how different types traps were created and set up. Visit the weapon rooms and learn how the ingenious soldiers made them. You can also safely try your hand at the shooting range with an AK-47.
After exploration, we travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive approximately at 3:30pm for the morning tour and 7:00pm for the afternoon tour.

5.00Our trip to Cu chi was great. Sam our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and informative. We had excellent transportation, with great air conditioning and a safe driver. The tunnels and other parts of the tour are definitely worth a visit. Other family members even practiced their shooting ability. Sam offered to stop at a great little Bahn mi place for our lunch and then we got dropped off at our hotel door.

5.00Great tour. Phu, our guide, spoke good English, was very knowledgeable and funny. Not only we visited the intended sites but Phu provided a lot of very good historical facts during the transit, which added important context to the visit. We'll recommend.

2.00I thought the actual tour was great. Our guide Tommy was informative and nice. The bus home was good and the stuff we did was interesting. I do feel the kindness of the pick up killed the trip. Being taken round and round in circles because people can’t be bothered to travel 5 minutes to a meeting point made the beginning so much more difficult than it should have been. People need to stop being so lazy!

5.00An experience worth experiencing on a tour. Easy from start to finish. Don’t be afraid to talk to the guide. They are very nice and knowledgeable. Professional service and really adds control, context, and depth to an otherwise already great historical museum. Dress for warm weather and maybe pack some wet towels so you are more comfortable during the tour.

5.00We were picked up outside our accommodation on time and greeted by Big Handsome David. He spent time sharing how the day would unfold and what to expect at different times. After our first stop, he told us about the history behind the Cu Chi Tunnels in an easy to follow way. As we went around each spot, he checked on us and encouraged but not pushed us to make the most out of the experience! I definitely recommend completing the full 100m of the tunnel, such an amazing experience:) Thank you Big Dave - you are the best!
