On this half-day Morning or Afternoon Cu Chi Tunnels tour, you will see the Cu Chi complex with its network of tunnels and traps, and learn about how society functioned underground during times of war. You can also try your hand at shooting range with an AK-47

Cu Chi Tunnels
Around 8:00AM or 12:10PM. Start with pickup from the center of Ho Chi Minh City or meet at the meeting point then depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hour drive, we arrive at the Tunnels where You'll have the opportunity to explore the tunnel system, which includes narrow passageways, hidden entrances, and underground chambers. Learn about the daily life of the Cu Chi guerrilla fighters and how they managed to survive in the tunnels. You can crawl distances through the tunnels that were used by the guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam War. You may see kitchens, living quarters, among other things used during the war. Learn about how different types traps were created and set up. Visit the weapon rooms and learn how the ingenious soldiers made them. You can also safely try your hand at the shooting range with an AK-47. After exploration, we travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive approximately at 3:30pm for the morning tour and 7:00pm for the afternoon tour.

5.00The guide was very good, the excursion was great value. The “half day” was in fact pick up at 8am and drop off at 3:30pm, with a stop off at a lacquer art work place, the tunnels, shooting range and lunch. The tunnels were very good. The shooting range was exactly as expected- “free” not actually free but rather pay for the bullets at a fairly high price and the guns themselves not working very well but that’s not really our bag anyway. Not so keen on the stop off at the lacquer place- in fact no one bought anything from the whole group. It felt a bit forced, not what any of the group wanted but everything else was great.

Our guide, Tuan, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He shared many personal stories and experiences from the time of the Vietnam War, which made the tour even more engaging and memorable.
