Let's call it a bus ride to the Swiss Villages not a tour.

3.00The villages we visited were very beautiful and interesting. However we didn't realize the tour bus starts in Zurich ,so not only did the bus arrive late but it was 80% full so all the seats were taken and the passengers who boarded in Lucerne got the left over sets which didn't allow us to sit with our travellng partner/family. The guide was not a tourist guide, she was only ensuring that all the people were on and off the bus at the different places we stopped. She did not review any tourist info. about the places and if she did it was done piece meal. She had to do it in English and spanish which was time consuming. Also the focus of the guide and her colleague was to sell tickets for the cable car ride and other attractions , less on giving a tour to the group. Technically it was a bus ride to these beautiful villages and you had to sight see on your own. If there are better tours available ,we would recommend looking into them than trying to fend for yourself on your own in a country where you don't know what you are supposed to see.
