Follow in the footsteps of Darlene, Naomi, Marlon and Mervin on this Death in Paradise tour in Guadeloupe, departing from the cruise terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre. Drink where they drank, walk where they walked and eat where they ate. You will be guided by someone who was an extra in seasons 14 and 15 of the series.
You will have the opportunity to have lunch at Catherine’s Bar or simply enjoy an hour of free time in the village of Honoré.

Accessibility: Please note This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Motorized scooters, collapsible wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and luggage are not permitted. A large amount of walking and or climbing is required, often over unpaved and uneven terrain. You should be in good physical health if you reserve this tour.
Lunch at the Catherine’s Bar: This option is not available on Wednesdays and public holidays (Christmas, New Year’s Day, Easter, etc.). Lunch is not included in the price.
The Honoré police station: The station may be closed on the day of your tour. In this case, a photo stop outside will always be scheduled during the tour. The cost of the visit is at your own expense (€15/$20).
Bring your own water bottle: We’re eco-friendly and no longer provide plastic bottles.

Pointe-a-Pitre
Pointe-à-Pitre cruise terminal: Our driver and guide will be waiting for you from 8:30 am near the tourist office and shops (Terminal 1) of the cruise terminal with a sign mentioning your name. Further information will be provided at a later date.
Plage de la Perle
Your guide will take you on a scenic drive along the coast. You will drive along the magnificent beach where the Inspector’s house aka “shack” is set up every year during the filming period. Your guide will describe the scenes filmed on this site and the difficult shooting environment for the actors. Please note: the Inspector’s house is only visible from May to August.

5.00As Brits, to get to see various Death in Paradise locations was thrilling. We were quizzed by our guide on how many Inspectors there had been and which one was our favourite. With inside knowledge, as he had been an extra on the series, he made our day very memorable. To top it all he had arranged for us to have lunch at the location for Catherine's Bar, which topped off the day. Very informative not only about the series but also about Guadeloupe as well. Great tour.

5.00Wonderful tour - just brilliant for all Death in Paradise fans. Must do! Olivier the tour guide was welcoming, accommodating and attentive - offered first class treatment. Very knowledgeable and gave great behind the scenes info. The whole tour from start to finish was fabulous - botanic gardens beautiful, police station and Catherine’s bar highlights of course! Highly recommend :)

5.00Olivier is an amazing knowledgeable guide he is very proud of his island and the death in paradise tv show being filmed there. I loved the attention to detail and the timing of the activities great tour would recommend. Lots of walking though so you must be able to walk a bit. Thank you Olivier for showing us what you did. Hope to come back and do another tour with you one day x

5.00This tour was excellent. Anyone that likes the TV series Death in Paradise should take this tour. Oliver was an outstanding guide & he showed us a lot of the filming locations for the show. The highlight was seeing the jail/office of the stars in the series. And the food at Catherine's Bar was great! The meal was well worth the cost. Now when I watch the show I see many of the places we visited & it is so nice. Thank you, Oliver, for a fantastic tour & great food!

5.00We loved this tour & our guide was fabulous! He even got us THE table at Catherine’s Bar. It was perfect! We were on a cruise and strapped for time so Olivier worked with us exactly right!

5.00What an amazing trip! Our guide Olivier was so professional and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble taking photos for us etc. He was so knowledgeable about Death In Paradise show and gave us a great insight into being an extra for the show. We enjoyed the botanical garden and loved feeding the Loroquets , goats and fish. The tour also visited the beach where the inspectors shack is and the dock before going on to the Police Station. There is an extra fee for this so it’s your choice but we found it was worth while. We were then taken to Catherine’s bar and because in this trip you have to order a meal a table for our trip was reserved and we had a good hour to enjoy there. The food was delicious and well worth the extra cost and came with a drink. I would completely recommend this trip and our tour guide/driver Olivier.
