Pointe-a-Pitre
Pointe-à-Pitre cruise terminal: Our driver and guide will be waiting for you from 8:30 am near the tourist office and shops (Terminal 1) of the cruise terminal with a sign mentioning your name. Further information will be provided at a later date.
Plage de la Perle
Your guide will take you on a scenic drive along the coast. You will drive along the magnificent beach where the Inspector’s house aka “shack” is set up every year during the filming period. Your guide will describe the scenes filmed on this site and the difficult shooting environment for the actors. Please note: the Inspector’s house is only visible from May to August.

5.00We highly recommend this Death in Paradise and Botanical Gardens tour. We booked with KARUKERA Experiences. We were kept informed of our time and meeting point. Oliver Brudey was a very friendly guide who was so knowledgeable about all the settings used in the series. We were in a small group and this allowed us plenty of time to visit the locations. We had an excellent lunch at Catherine's Bar and we returned to the Ship in plenty of time. A Must do Tour in Guadalupe. 1st class experience. Thank you Oliver.

5.00Our guide was first rate. He knows about DIP and is an extra. Great insight into the show and the island. Every minute of the tour was worthwhile, and eating at Catherine's bar was great. Can't wait to watch every season over with new eyes! Small van. Very personal. Perfect length. Not strenuous, but requires walking in sand and some uphill.

5.00Olivier was so informative about the Death in Paradise series. He is a regular extra in the Tv series and his first hand knowledge is incredible. He took us to all the Death in Paradise hot spots as well as the Botanical Gardens. Olivier speaks fluent English and is very friendly. He answered all our questions. Highly recommended.

5.00Excellent trip, see many filming hotspots and bought the tee shirt. Was on a cruise and Guadeloupe was a port, we did this trip privately which cost half the price. Well worth doing if you like death in paradise.

5.00This was one of the highlights of our trip—a perfect mix of Death in Paradise fun, beautiful scenery, and local culture. If you're a fan of the show, this tour is a must-do! Olivier, our guide, was absolutely great. He’s friendly, funny, and super knowledgeable—not to mention he was actually an extra in Season 14 of the show! We haven’t finished the season yet, but now we’re even more excited to spot him when we do. His behind-the-scenes stories added a really fun, personal touch to the whole experience. The tour itself was really well-organized from start to finish. We were picked up exactly where the video from the tour company said we would be, which was super helpful and made everything easy. Traveling in a small group made it feel personal and relaxed, and we had plenty of time at each stop. Seeing the filming locations in real life was such a treat—especially Catherine’s Bar, which was even cooler in person. Sitting there with a local lunch and imagining the characters walking in was surreal in the best way. The Botanical Garden was also gorgeous—peaceful, lush, and full of tropical beauty (and a few fun animal encounters too!). The scenic drive through the north of the island gave us a whole new perspective on Guadeloupe—it’s a stunning place, and this tour showed us a side we might have missed otherwise. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience and a really fun way to spend the day. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just curious about the show, we’d recommend this tour in a heartbeat. Huge thanks to Olivier and the team for such a great day!

5.00An amazing small group tour in Guadeloupe around all thd main DIP settings with a very knowledgeable guide. Collected promptly at cruise port and returned in a timely manner prior to ship sailing again. Lunch in Catherine's Bar was a highlight. The Botanical Gardens were beautiful and the little food pots were an excellent addition as feeding the birds was a lovely experience.

5.00Oliver was our amazing tour guide and driver yesterday. We visited a number of locations used on Death in Paradise and Oliver provided some insite into the filming. Oliver managed to arrive at each location before the crowds who arrived in large buses, and we were able to see each location without having to queue up. The minibus was modern and had air conditioning that worked well. We would highly recommend this tour and Karukera Experiences over those arranged by the ship or picked up on the day at the cruise port.
