Pointe-a-Pitre
Pointe-à-Pitre cruise terminal: Our driver and guide will be waiting for you from 8:30 am near the tourist office and shops (Terminal 1) of the cruise terminal with a sign mentioning your name. Further information will be provided at a later date.
Plage de la Perle
Your guide will take you on a scenic drive along the coast. You will drive along the magnificent beach where the Inspector’s house aka “shack” is set up every year during the filming period. Your guide will describe the scenes filmed on this site and the difficult shooting environment for the actors. Please note: the Inspector’s house is only visible from May to August.

5.00We loved this tour & our guide was fabulous! He even got us THE table at Catherine’s Bar. It was perfect! We were on a cruise and strapped for time so Olivier worked with us exactly right!

5.00What an amazing trip! Our guide Olivier was so professional and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble taking photos for us etc. He was so knowledgeable about Death In Paradise show and gave us a great insight into being an extra for the show. We enjoyed the botanical garden and loved feeding the Loroquets , goats and fish. The tour also visited the beach where the inspectors shack is and the dock before going on to the Police Station. There is an extra fee for this so it’s your choice but we found it was worth while. We were then taken to Catherine’s bar and because in this trip you have to order a meal a table for our trip was reserved and we had a good hour to enjoy there. The food was delicious and well worth the extra cost and came with a drink. I would completely recommend this trip and our tour guide/driver Olivier.

5.00We were picked up on time by our guide Olivier who was very knowledgeable about the island and also Death In Paradise - the reason for our visit! He ensured our day went smoothly and we captured all the memories we wanted to. Lunch at Catherine’s Bar was a real highlight of the day and Olivier made sure we were well looked after with a pre booked table and food order. Beware of the rum punch!

5.00Excellent trip with our guide Olivier who was very knowledgeable and has also been an extra on the Death in Paradise series. I would highly recommend the trip we saw everything we wanted the beach where the inspectors house, police station and Catherine’s bar. Olivier was very friendly and made the trip enjoyable. The Botanical garden was also amazing.

5.00Great trip Death in paradise location Olivier gave us a wonderful trip despite the rain and the meal in Catherine’s bar was excellent !! Olivier gave us some very in depth information on the locations and filming and also was able to adjust the itinerary to help miss the rain

5.00This tour was great! Oliver was a wonderful guide who knew a lot about the Death in Paradise series. He showed us many locations used for filming. I really enjoyed seeing the jail & shack locations. The food at Catherines Bar was very good! We had Christian for our driver, but Oliver did all the touring & answered questions. Christian provided info about the island as we drove to filming locations. (We had 2 busloads of people). This tour & location was the reason I went on the cruise. The entire tour was well worth the money & very enjoyable. The morning was rainy, but it cleared in a short time & we were able to see a lot of the filming locations & eat a wonderful meal. If you are a fan of the Death in Paradise series, this tour is well worth taking!

5.00This trip was amazing. The guy Oliver was so friendly and kind and gave loads of information about both the island and the tv programme Death In Paradise. We also got to see all places where being filmed and when we got home and watched the new series we could see all areas we had been to. Was brilliant. Thanks so much

5.00Absolutely fantastic experience on this tour. I’m so disappointed in myself that I didn’t write down the name of our tour guide, but he was fantastic! (Our driver Chris was also great and informative!) In addition to taking us to all the major show landmarks, our host was able to give us a lot of behind-the-scenes stories because he’s been an extra on the show. If you’re a fan of the show, this is one of the best excursions you can do! So interesting and everyone on the tour felt it was well worth it! Plus, as an added bonus, we had lunch at Catherine’s bar, which turned out to actually be delicious! Highly, highly recommend!

5.00Brilliant experience. Oliver was fantastic, knowledgeable and has been an extra on Death in Paradise 😊 He was able to take us to parts of where the show is filmed before all the cruise ship buses arrived.
