We keep our tour group sizes small, you will not be put in a line of 15, 20 or 30 tour vehicles where all you see is dust. We limit each tour group size to 5 or less tour vehicles. We offer a far more personalized off-road experience than the vast majority of ATV/UTV tour companies in Arizona. We highly recommend our Sunset tour, it is the best sunset tour experience in all of Arizona.

Choose between 3 to 4 different start times daily. You Drive on this off-road desert adventure activity. Following one of our seasoned professional tour guides you will be driving a late model UTV thru over 25 miles of the scenic Tonto National Forest outside of Scottsdale Arizona. Office will contact you after booking to schedule your start time, and with directions to meeting location.

5.00BOOK IT! Definitely make sure Karson is your guide, he was an amazing trail guide (safety 1st), filled with all the knowledge of the desert landscape, foliage, and wildlife! Desert Monsters keep their machines in top-notch shape, they were stable & super fun for the entire family, These Alaskan can’t wait to burn trail again next year!

5.00Very good! The price was perfect, Karson was a very knowledgeable and fun to talk to guide. The 2 hour trip was the perfect amount of time. The timing was perfect with the sunset. The group was perfect I love small group excursions. I highly recommend Karson and the tour company. The booking was easy and quick, and the remind emails were perfect!

5.00Our family of six just finished an incredible guided UTV tour in the Arizona desert (Sonoran Desert area, out of the Phoenix/Scottsdale region), and it was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip! We booked our 2 hour adventure with Desert Monster Tours and everything from start to finish was top-notch. The UTVs (we rode comfortable, late-model side-by-sides like Honda models and were in excellent condition—smooth handling, powerful, and super fun to drive. No prior experience needed; the safety briefing was thorough, and our guide Spencer, was patient while we got the hang of it. He led us through some seriously exciting terrain: rocky trails, deep washes, steep and climbs, that had us whooping with excitement! The scenery was breathtaking—vast open desert with towering saguaros, dramatic mountain views Mountains in the distance. Spencer shared awesome knowledge about the local plants, animals, and history, which made the ride feel educational as well as adrenaline-pumping. Safety was clearly a priority: helmets, goggles, water, and snacks provided, and the group size felt just right—not too crowded. We went on a mid day tour the weather was perfect for a ride in the desert . The whole experience felt adventurous but completely safe and well-organized. If you’re visiting Arizona and want something more thrilling than a standard sightseeing tour, do this! It’s perfect for couples, families (ours had teens who loved it), or friends looking for an authentic desert adventure. 10/10—would do it again in a heartbeat, maybe even try a sunset version next time. Highly recommend booking ahead! We went with a highly rated Desert Monster because of its ratings. Ask for Spencer he was a great guide. Thanks again to Desert Monster and especially Spencer for the wonderful experience.

5.00Our family had a great experience on the Desert Monster Tours. Our guide Spencer did an amazing job. He’s super nice, knowledgeable about the desert and Arizona wildlife and safety was a priority. We took a few stops along the way for snack, water and a good photo opp. My kids (15 & 13) had an amazing time as well. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be back!!!

5.00Spencer was a wonderful guide. Gave us some great insight to the national forest. Driving the UTVs was a blast. Great group, amazing scenery, exciting afternoon. Highly recommend.
