We were traveling in a party of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kids between the age of 6-9. We were paired with Rich G. and he was AMAZING!! He showed us all the secret spots and was great with our kids. We would 100% recommend him and would suggest you make a special request for Rich with the PINK jeep tours in Grand Canyon!

This is our second Pink Jeep Tour and it did not disappoint! Darcy was so knowledgeable and professional that our experience at The Grand Canyon was enriched by her expertise. Such an exceptional experience as we know much more about the history and people than we would have had we simply done this on our own. Value added for sure!! I recommend Darcy and Pink Jeep Tours to anyone!!

Guide, Brad, was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable. In addition to my wife and me, there was a family with 4 out-of-control kids under 10 years of age. Guide had to continually request kids to return from space beyond the rock walls at the different stops. Brad deserves sainthood! I would have returned all of them to the parking lot. Brad answered all of our questions about the history of the canyon, the plants and animals and local activities. Picture is of kid looking to win a Darwin Award!

This was our first time at the Grand Canyon, and the tour was the perfect introduction. Rich was our guide, and he clearly has a passion for the glory of the canyon. His knowledge of the canyon’s history together with his hope that we see the “best” spots was just what we needed. We definitely appreciated his willingness to help with our photos so this experience will live on!

We took a tour the day before and thought we seen it all…however we had booked with pink jeep for a mid day tour the next day…wow…Darcy our guide was awesome. We took the back way into the south rim and seen the ponderosa pines and the local habitat. Wild horses, squirrels, elk, hawks and much more. The open jeep was perfect! We then seen the canyon in a whole new view. This operation is first class. Then as an added bonus we seen the I max grand canyon movie! Great end to an awesome day!

We had about 45 seconds to enjoy the sunset at our “sunset stop”. We arrived with enough time to see the sunset but our guide wanted to go show us sage brush…then we pretty much missed the sunset. I’m not quite sure why it was $700 for a family of four….desert view drive was very lackluster. Can’t even see the canyon for most of it.. .

Good Tour, But Not the “Adventure” We Expected We recently took the Pink Jeep tour at the Grand Canyon and came away with mixed feelings. The tour was about 3½ hours and cost around $150 per person. The route went out to the Desert View Watchtower and back, with two main stops: the Watchtower and Grandview Point. Both were beautiful locations, but along the way we passed two or three other viewpoints that easily could have been quick photo stops. It would have been nice to include at least one more. Our driver was courteous and knowledgeable and was able to answer just about every question. He also said he would look up anything he didn’t know and follow up later, which I appreciated. However, the presentation felt a bit flat for a place as spectacular as the Grand Canyon. I was hoping for a little more excitement and storytelling to match the setting. Part of my perspective comes from a Pink Jeep tour we took in Sedona, which was fantastic. That guide really made the experience feel like an adventure from the moment we started. He showed up in a cowboy hat, brought great energy to the trip, and even took the time to learn each of our names. There were only four of us, and he used our names throughout the tour. That small detail makes a big difference. As Dale Carnegie famously pointed out, a person’s name is the sweetest sound to them, and it instantly makes an experience feel more personal. By comparison, the Grand Canyon tour felt more businesslike. The route itself is something anyone with a car and the park entrance fee could easily do on their own, so the guide’s energy and engagement are what really make the tour special. We did learn some interesting history along the way—about early explorers and artists in the canyon, and about the 1957 mid-air collision over the canyon that helped lead to modern air traffic control systems. One final tip: if you stop at the Watchtower canteen, don’t miss the Rocky Road ice cream cone. It’s excellent.
