The steamship ride, sumptuous buffet, sheep-shearing and herding were five-star experiences all the way. Kim, the sheep herding dog, and his handler or "co-worker," were a special treat. The grounds are like a real life Hobbiton without the Hobbit houses. We got a huge kick out of the staff waving to us as the ship approached the island like a scene out of "The White Lotus."

Lovely trip across the lake on a real vintage steamer. Excellent meal served by very pleasant staff. Farm experience quite short.

We lucked onto an amazingly calm, warm & sunny evening. The day before was wild, windy and rainy with me thanking my lucky stars I didn't book a day earlier! Leaving at 5pm is perfect allowing passengers to enjoy the afternoon light to see Queenstown at its best. The buffet dinner was one of the best I've ever experienced - smoked salmon, NZ mussels, eye fillet, every roast meat / vege and salads you could imagine. You will not be disappointed! After dinner there was an optional farm tour but we chose to walk toward Camel Head Beach for quiet time

This is a great trip. We chose the last steam boat out so that we came back to the night lights of Queenstown. The food was absolutely amazing and the sheep shearing show was both informative and fun. Great for all ages.

We did the 7 pm Cruise, the dinner was amazing especially the pork belly. Staff were friendly and the show informative. Would definitely recommend a must do in Queenstown.
