Walter Peak bbq dinner was great. We had the RealNZ ferry across which was a pleasant journey, then bbq dinner followed by the farm show, then back on ferry at the end of night. Food was hot, plentiful and a large variety to choose from. If you are after photos of your experience it maybe in the dark so not many opportunities to be had especially in the colder months.

Well worth it. Well organised, food was amazing. Rug up as the farm show is in the open and it’s freezing - we had been well prepared. We did the Sunset cruise - scenery was spectacular on the way. Don’t eat beforehand!

The 100 year old steamer was good fun. The farm BBQ was in a colonial estate and was a dinner buffet with very nice food. The farm show was entertaining with a sheep sheering and sheep dog demonstration.
