Copenhagen
Copenhagen, the vibrant capital of Denmark, seamlessly blends modern design with rich history. The city is famous for its colorful canals, historic architecture, and a thriving culinary scene, particularly its innovative Nordic cuisine. A must-see is Nyhavn, the iconic harbor lined with charming buildings and bustling restaurants. Explore the Royal Amalienborg Palace, home to Denmark's royal family, and don't miss the Tivoli Gardens, one of the world's oldest amusement parks. Cycling through the city's scenic streets is a local favorite, as Copenhagen is one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world. From the striking Little Mermaid statue to the bohemian Christiania district, Copenhagen offers a mix of tradition, culture, and modernity, making it a perfect destination for every traveler.
Nyhavn
Nyhavn is one of Copenhagen’s most iconic landmarks, a vibrant waterfront lined with colorful 17th-century townhouses, bustling cafes, and historic wooden ships. This picturesque canal, once a busy commercial port, now attracts visitors with its lively atmosphere and charming views. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a traditional Danish smørrebrød (open-faced sandwich) while watching boats glide by. Nyhavn was famously home to writer Hans Christian Andersen, and his former residence is marked with a plaque. The area is also a great starting point for boat tours along Copenhagen's canals, offering a unique perspective of the city’s architectural beauty. With its lively ambiance, historical significance, and central location, Nyhavn captures the essence of Copenhagen, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring the Danish capital.

Diana was our guide. She was originally from the US, so excellent English. She was very knowledgeable and even gave us some inside tips. We were able to see the guards marching past the old opera house for the changing of the guard. She offered restaurant recommendations and city walking tips. Really enjoyed the tour and her bubbly personality. We covered a lot of ground in the 3 hours so felt like we had a grasp of what Copenhagen had to offer and museums to go see as well as shopping. I would highly recommend.
