Our pedal assist electric bikes give you the opportunity to explore the network of bike trails within the McLaren Vale wine region and along the stunning Fleurieu Coastal esplanades. We have a range of eBikes including step-through cruisers, mountain bikes, cargo bikes, trikes, and tuktuks, with options for children and people with mobility limitations.
We provide maps and can help you customise your itinerary, with lots of great suggestions such as routes for art lovers, or families with children, or wine connoisseurs, or those who like challenging themselves on the hills....
The region is blessed with more than 70 boutique cellar doors, gin distilleries and micro breweries to drop in on along the way, as well as award winning restaurants, country style bakeries, and seaside cafes.
Enjoy the local wildlife and birds as you silently cruise past.
There is something for everyone in McLaren Vale.

5.00A fabulous day out in the lovely McLaren Vale. Brought my 70+ dad who has not ridden a bike in 50 years. Shayne was an excellent e-bike teacher; taking the time to explain the bike and get dad on it (didn't take him long and we were off on the bike track)! Shayne's bikes are in tip top shape and starting at the centre provides convenience of carparking, toilets at start and end, bike track begins at the rear of centre. Highly recommend this as an activity - only a few moments and you are at a winery / cafe.

5.00Such an amazing way to get around McLaren Vale! Shayne was punctual at drop of and flexible with pick up as we got caught with some rain. Highly recommend hiring, it was fun for adults and kids!!

5.00Great way for our group of 10 to spend the day riding these e-bikes around McLaren Vale. Shayne was so helpful in making arrangements. It was great having the bikes delivered and collected from our accommodation. Comfortable and reliable bikes, made it easy getting up any hills and quick to cover distances. A fun way to see lots of the area and vineyards. Highly recommend.

5.00Fantastic full day bike hire at McLaren Vale. Pre trip information was excellent and booking was easy. Shayne was very helpful with planning a route for the day and the bikes were easy to use.

3.00Although the owner was very pleasant, he want organised, and the bikes were not of good quality or serviced, one chain broke before we even left and bikes were not appropriate sizes

5.00Had the most fabulous day exploring the area around Mclaren Vale. Booking, pick-up, bike instructions were all easy and straightforward. We were give a map with trail and rest suggestions which helped a lot. The bikes are really easy to ride, comfortable with plenty of power and range. Worth every penny. Highly Recommend!

5.00The service and experience from start to finish was second to none. Online booking was smooth and very reasonable price. Easy to find and great location for a pre cycling day cake and coffee. Bikes were great and easy to use. Shane was exceptional! Gave us all the info needed and made us feel really well looked after. The cycling itself was amazing - so good to enjoy the sun and air (and wine and food!) in that way. Out of the visitor centre and a short spin up the road and you’re straight into the Shiraz Trail. All round fantastic.

5.00SA e-bikes was easy to schedule, provided great service, and had good e-bikes with long batteries. We were able to have the bikes delivered at 10 and picked up from Serafino at 5. We had a fun day on the Shiraz trail and also taking some roads to taste wine. There were some hills on our route so having the pedal assist was very helpful. If you like exploring new areas on bicycles, this is the place to get bikes.

5.00We had a great experience with Shayne @ SA ebikes. We had never ridden one, but they are definitely the go to when cycling around hills. The process was very easy to request our bikes and pay online, a quick phone call and Shayne delivered and collected the bikes from our B & B. Would highly recommend SAebikes.
