The Third Tunnel

■DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) The 3rd Invasion Tunnel. This is walking course into the tunnel. Take your step into the 3rd tunnel which is one of thrilling tunnel as close to 1.95 meters high, 2.1 meters wide and 1,635 meters long. It was thought to be more threatening as an invasion tool than the 1st and 2nd Tunnels.

I had a great experience doing the DMZ tour visiting the observatory and the 3rd tunnel. My guide was Julie from PLK Travel. She has great energy and explained the history of the sites really well. It was so fun to have her as the guide! She’s such a fun spirit and very knowledgeable. She made sure the trip run smoothly. Highly recommend!

Julie took us to the suspension bridge at Lake Majang, DMZ, Peace Park, and the underground tunnels. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. She shared humor and kept things” light” at times. I’m grateful my other trip was changed so that I could take mine with Julie. Leonna

Our tour guide Julie was truly fantastic. She took us on the DMZ Tour(via PLK Travel) to see the observatory and the 3rd tunnel. She was funny, entertaining, had tons of knowledge/information, and was full of energy. I’d do the same exact tour the next time, but it would absolutely have to be with her.
