Before we go into DMZ area and do ID Check, will look through Bridge of Freedom, Mangbaedan Altar which is historical sites related to Korean War.
The Third Tunnel
■DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) The 3rd Invasion Tunnel. This is walking course into the tunnel. Take your step into the 3rd tunnel which is one of thrilling tunnel as close to 1.95 meters high, 2.1 meters wide and 1,635 meters long. It was thought to be more threatening as an invasion tool than the 1st and 2nd Tunnels.

From the moment we met, she made us feel welcome and completely at ease, and her knowledge of the history and significance of the DMZ was exceptional. She explained everything in such a clear and engaging way, answering all our questions with depth and passion. Julie’s attention to detail really stood out—whether it was pointing out hidden landmarks or sharing personal stories, she brought the whole experience to life. She also kept the group safe and organized, making sure we got the most out of every stop without feeling rushed. If you're planning a DMZ tour, I highly recommend asking for Julie as your guide. 5.00We had an amazing experience on the DMZ tour with Julie from PLK Travel. The tour was very well structured and covered so many highlights, including the suspension bridge, Peace Park with the gondola ride (optional extra), the DMZ observation deck, and the Third Tunnel. Everything flowed smoothly and was well organized. Julie was absolutely excellent. She is incredibly knowledgeable and informative, sharing both the historical background and the current state of affairs in a clear and engaging way. On top of that, she gave us great tips on what souvenirs to buy and where to find them at good prices, and she even surprised us with a bonus tour, which was a lovely extra. What really set Julie apart was her personality. She has an amazing, infectious energy that made the whole day enjoyable. She was also very patient and kind with our 6-year-old son and truly went above and beyond to make the tour memorable for our whole family.
