Before we go into DMZ area and do ID Check, will look through Bridge of Freedom, Mangbaedan Altar which is historical sites related to Korean War.
The Third Tunnel
■DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) The 3rd Invasion Tunnel. This is walking course into the tunnel. Take your step into the 3rd tunnel which is one of thrilling tunnel as close to 1.95 meters high, 2.1 meters wide and 1,635 meters long. It was thought to be more threatening as an invasion tool than the 1st and 2nd Tunnels.

5.00We did the full day tour with Mt. Gamaksan suspension bridge option with PLK Travel and they were very affordable, super organized, and fantastic overall. Our guide, Chloe, was as promised, lovely and bubbly, and taught us a lot! She made the tour very fun and efficient without seeming rushed. Pickup was from Myeongdong Station, the bus is comfortable, and the tour group was not too big unlike some of the other tours I’ve seen join us at the sites. I can highly recommend. The pacing is less rushed and you have more time at the sites, but will still be done by about 4-4:30 pm. I would say I have a casual interest in the geopolitical history of the Korean Peninsula, so if your level of interest is anywhere in or above that realm (or even if you know nothing), I think you’ll have a blast. Great fun for solo, couple, or family travellers. It was very educational and surreal to look at North Korea with my own two eyes, honestly. Try to book for a day with clear weather so you have the best view possible from the observatory. However, there was plenty of availability and we had literally only booked three days in advance.

5.00This particular tour was one of the many highlights of my trip to South Korea. Our tour guide, Chloe, was amazing at explaining all the history and context related to the DMZ. The ride was smooth, comfortable, and timely. The whole thing takes roughly 9 to 9.5 hours, and it was very well organized. Lots to learn and see. I am glad that we did this tour with Chloe. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting South Korea. If you are visiting the DMZ, come with some water and comfortable clothes and shoes. There are a lot of steep inclines to climb up and down.

You always had all the inside info before you visited a site & then knew exactly what to check out. She runs a great tour and made sure that key parts of the tour flowed smoothly.
