It’s not every day that you get to paddle your way down a mangrove creek forest that has been there for over 10,000 years. We kayak up close to shipwrecks, relics of a bygone era (weather/wind permitting) and along the way have the opportunity to spot dolphins. It’s a special experience that simply can’t be replicated, which is why Dolphin Sanctuary Kayak Tours is a must-do!

Our guides are marine biologists who have experience and knowledge of working with marine mammals and wildlife. Participants don’t need any prior kayaking experience, and we travel at a comfortable pace to accommodate reasonable fitness levels.

We hope to see you paddling with us in the Sanctuary soon!

Please note departure times are varied due to tide times and it is essential that you arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time.

We saw playful dolphins, kayaked around a shipwreck and through the mangroves. Our guide Lewis was amazing, and he shared his expert knowledge of the sanctuary. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

We had an amazing time with Dolphin Sanctuary Kayak Tours during our stay in Adelaide. From the moment we arrived, the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They gave us clear and helpful instructions on how to paddle and navigate the kayaks, which made the whole experience comfortable and fun – even for beginners! The tour itself was stunning – peaceful waters, beautiful mangroves, and the absolute highlight: we saw dolphins up close in their natural environment! It was such a magical moment and one we’ll never forget. The guides were knowledgeable, passionate, and made sure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. Well what a tremendous day that was. Hannah and Fiona are truly tremendous guides with both being very knowledgeable. The tour it self is great with dolphin sightings straight away and the ease of the paddling makes it so anybody can do the tour. The wrecks along the way make a great photo opportunity. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone

Good tour. Saw the dolphins a good few times and one occasion they were up close to the kayaks. The team really respect the wildlife and are very knowledgable- thanks Hannah and Mark!

We thoroughly enjoyed this adventure. We saw numerous dolphins before we even got into the kayaks. So cool to watch them frolicking up so close. Hannah and Louis were our knowledgeable and friendly guides. We then wove through the mangroves for an entertaining kayak experience. Highly recommend.
