The water was choppy with ocean waves, dipping here rising there, it was the sensation of a never ending roller coaster. The sms warned us to prepare for possible seasickness - glad we followed the advice! Our little group was fine. We saw seals playing in the distance. . Dolphins kept to play and swim beside our tour boat. The Wales in the area choose to stay hidden below the waters surface because of the chill factor from the wind., That’s ok, it’s an excuse to book again. The staff were kind friendly and helpful, ensuring everyone was safe.

Unfortunately I spent the majority of this cruise feeling nauseous due to seasickness. I have been on various vessels before and never experienced that. Granted, there is a warning when booking and I'd say to not take that lightly! We did come across a humpback whale though, and when it was on the right side of the boat it got quite close and that was amazing to see but I failed to capture a photo of it. Besides that, a few albatross and some dolphins in the distance.. not sure what I may have missed out on due to having to remain seated due to feeling very unwell. That said, I would love to take another cruise like this but will definitely prepare in advance with seasick meds in future!

This was our 4th trip with Wildlife Coast Cruises, and we will be back again. Thanks to Mike the Captain for his incredible knowledge, insight and wit. The crew were friendly and attentive, and made the day special. Even though the whales were a bit elusive (we did see a beautiful young spotted whale close up late in the day, and saw whales blowing a long way off)... the day was amazing and the scenery totally spectacular. We visited islands we had not seen on previous trips. Special diets were well catered for too. Just let them know when you book. Thoroughly recommended.

Our adventure started at San Remo where we watched the 12.00pm feeding of the Pelicans. A great close up look of a stunning bird. We then boarded our boat which was staffed by friendly helpful staff and headed around Phillip Island. Lots of room and choice of seats on the boat so we could change viewing spot without worrying about losing our position. We saw half a dozen Humpback Whales. The commentary was interesting and refreshing as she seemed as excited by the sight as we were. I don't remember her name but she had a very easy to listen to voice. The Captain also added bits which made for an informative report. We also saw a multitude of seals on Seal Rocks and enjoyed watching the seals frolicking in the water. All the water turbulence made the water turn various shades of blue and acqua. A truly stunning sight was a couple of Shy Albatrosses gliding to the side of our boat. They were so graceful and elegant. On our way back we saw a group of dolphins. Also worth mentioning is the beautiful coastline which we had not seen before from the water, Cape Woolamai with their iconic red coloured rocks. Oh yes and then the warm muffin which was well timed to warm us up just as we we were beginning to feel the cold. All up a great trip which makes you appreciative our beautiful part of the world. And special mention of the staff who were casual, friendly and make one proud to be Australia.

I love a day at sea and this one didn't disappoint. We saw two hump backed whales and circled them for about an hour to watch them breaching many times. Because it was fairly calm the boat was able to get close to the rocks and it was great to see the dramatic colours of the cliffs and the many deep caves. It made up for not seeing dolphins this trip. I am lucky not to get sea sick but many were so I advise to take medication if this is a possibility.

My mother and I had a whale pass. Fantastic value did the 5 trips and saw whales on all of them. The last 2 trips were amazing with 2 whales breaching at once and the last on a single whale giving us an hour show breaching and rolling round

Friendly crew really went out of their way & stopped longer than the cruise was meant to go for so we could see the whales for a longer time. The boat gets up really close to seal rocks & we saw lots of dolphins too. It was fairly windy out on the boat but nice & sunny.
