A 4WD in the sandy dunes of the deserts witnessing the sun going down into the depths of the golden sands will give any adventure lover the thrills of a lifetime. As the sun sets, the Al-Khayma Camp awaits you with a delicious BBQ and other fun-filled activities and when the stars light up the sky, be ready for an amazing star gazing session.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
It is highly recommended that you eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid sickness during the dune bashing.
We highly recommend having international travel insurance, as self-driving activities carry inherent risks that may lead to serious injury. Coverage for such incidents is typically provided only through your personal insurance.
The quad biking segment is solely the participant's responsibility. Any damage, injuries sustained or items lost during the quad tour are not covered by insurance
All desert safari drivers are well trained and licensed for safari drives. The 4WD vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with all necessary safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government trackers, GPS, GMS, and a First Aid box
OceanAir Travels shall not be responsible for any kind of loss, accident, sickness or injury.
Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.
Casual, loose fitting clothing is recommended in the summer, along with a jacket in the winter
Please note that if your skin is sensitive to henna, it is advised not to do it.
The 11:30 AM Timing slot comes with a Lunch buffet, and it doesn't include the Star Gazing & Fire show since it's during the day timing
Pickup will be within 45min prior to your selected departure time. Please be ready at the hotel lobby on time.
Pick-up timing is subject to change due to the emerging summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon. A notification shall be sent in advance in the case of any change.
During the holy month of Ramadan you can watch only Fire shows in our desert camps
Everything listed in the Inclusions is part of the tour and is covered in the price. Quad biking is available if the option is selected.
By UAE law, pregnant ladies, anyone with back or neck pain, heart problems or other serious medical complaints and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity. (If these conditions apply to you, you can wait at the meeting point until others complete the adventure activities.)

Pick Up Listen to miraculous humble beginnings of the land of dreams, Dubai, from our friendly safari captains who shall pick you up and keep you entertained for the 60 minutes’ drive in a 4x4 Vehicle across the deserts. Quad Bike Ride (Optional) Welcome to your first stop. Take your time here to relax and prepare yourself for the adventures ahead. The place provides good facilities for fresh-ups and if interested, you may avail the Quad Bike Ride option to zeal up your desert experience. Dune Bashing Pump up your excitement as you bash into the golden dunes of the Lahbab desert and be ready to kick up the dust as you go sand surfing here.
Feel like royalty as you enter the Al-Khyama camp where you shall be greeted with the traditional Qahwa (Arabic Coffee), Gaymat (Exotic sweets), Dates and unlimited soft drinks. The camel ride and posing with the falcon after the falconry session is a sure catch on this trip. Get dressed up in the ethnic Arabian clothes-kandura (men’s clothing), and abaya (Women’s clothing) and spend the evening as an Arab smoking shisha and having an Arabian Makeover with henna painting. 5.00Had an amazing time on the AM Desert Safari tour. The pickup was punctual, our guide Nadeem was friendly and knowledgeable. The dune bashing was thrilling & the kids loved the sandboarding and camel ride. Overall a fun, well-organized experience that’s perfect if you want adventure without spending the whole day. Highly recommended!

4.00Great trip and good value given all the activities and food. Really friendly guide. There were only 2 things that prevented a 5 star rating: There were 6 people (7 with guide) in our van and the 2 sat in the 3rd row had very restricted foot room - we had to sit sideways for a couple of hours. Secondly, some of the group had booked a quad bike experience as part of the tour. This meant the other members of the group had to sit around for half an hour while they did it.

5.00We booked the Dubai Premium Dunes Safari and 5-Star BBQ at Al Khayma Camp with Ocean Air Travel, and it was one of the best experiences of our entire trip. Our driver and guide, Yaseen, made the day unforgettable from start to finish. Pickup was in a spacious, comfortable shared car, and we were offered cold water as we headed to our first stop. The other couples in the group were friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our first stop was a small camp where we were welcomed with tea, coffee, water, delicious dates, and the chance to browse for souvenirs and traditional headwear. From there, we continued into the desert for dune bashing — and Yaseen’s driving skills were absolutely spot on! It was thrilling, safe, and so much fun. We also got the chance to try sand surfing, and Yaseen took fantastic photos for us using our phones — a wonderful bonus that helped us capture the moment perfectly. At Al Khayma Camp, we were treated to an evening packed with entertainment and more food than we could have imagined. Everything was delicious, including the desserts. The traditional dances, music, and fire shows were outstanding. We also enjoyed a fun camel ride with plenty of great photo opportunities, and the night ended with horse demonstrations. The ride back was just as comfortable as the ride in. I truly wish all tour guides were as knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive to guests’ needs as Yaseen. Five stars for Yaseen and Ocean Air Travel — highly recommended!

3.00There should be much more clarity in the ads that ATV rides are at an additional cost. Driving through the desert dunes was lots of fun but its quite long and very uncomfortable seating. BBQ food at the camp site ran out very early so if you were the last few tables to join the buffet, alot of the dishes were already gone. The timing is excessively long as too much time is allotted to just sitting around the supper table and waiting for some performance to start. Our group decided to leave early. Also, drivers should be required to follow a strict policy of no texting while driving the guests. Overall, its a fun day but has many shortcomings.

5.00Zeeshan is an excellent guide and provided lots of information about the history of the desert, its people and environment. We enjoyed all of thr activities included. We chose to pay extra for the quad bikes with the outside option, both my Son and I enjoyed it.
Do it guarantee you will be happy you did!
