Walking tour of the Edinburgh Castle grounds. You'll be introduced to the History of Edinburgh Castle, its residents and buildings. Highlights include: - St. Margaret's Chappel, the oldest surviving building in Edinburgh, - Mons Meg, a 6.6 tonne cannon, - The Great Hall, where monarchs could eavesdrop on their court, - The Honours of Scotland, the oldest crown jewels in the United Kingdom, - A cemetery for dogs. Please note that this is a visit of the Castle grounds only, as due to the reduced size of some indoor spaces and the popularity of the Castle, tour guides are not allowed into enclosed spaces.

5.00The tour with Laura in February was a great experience. Laura was engaging and knowledgeable as well as funny and kind. We really enjoyed the insights into the history of the landmark, the stories about key residents, and the architecture and the struggles the building has witnessed. A very enjoyable afternoon!

5.00I booked this experience last minute. Everything was seamless. I met up with my group easily by following the instructions on the app. Our guide, Toni, was awesome! Fun, engaging, and knowledgeable!! I think the entire group had a blast, and learned some insider information that blew apart most of the history we thought we knew. I’ve done other tours in other cities, and this has been my favorite! Book it..you won’t regret it. Ask for Toni. 🙌🏻

5.00Arrived at meeting point, our guide Robert greeted us in a very friendly manor, he asked us where we came from and had a nice chat, we then walked upto the castle ,Robert was very knowledgeable and told some good stories making the history lesson very informative and fun. Would definitely recommend.
