The person giving the tour was English and very pro England And almost everything he said was negative on Scotland. One quote Sighting Robert the Bruce and William Wallace were just murderer’s. And the thistle was looked like an upside down Pineapple. He was absolutely terrible. You can tell he’ll did not like Scotland. How Sad. What a SCAM.

Exceptional walking tour, met on the royal mile and then entered Edinburgh Castle, the guide, Laura really brought everything to life, excellent knowledge and great life giving commentary. Really made this tour outstanding, I can’t stress enough how lucky we were to be guided by Laura.

Booked it the night before. Instructions to meet were clear. Short walk from meeting point to the castle. Bring an umbrella as drizzles frequently happen. It was an educational and interactive tour! The guide was talkative (in a good way) throughout. I had zero knowledge of Scottish royalty history, I wasn't forced to interact or answer, and at the end of the tour, I learned a lot at my own pace. The tour is limited to the open spaces only, but the information includes the guide-restricted places as well. So, when you go into those places by yourself, you're not lost on the lore. The guided tour lasted roughly two hours. After that, you're free to roam until closing time.

Tour guides Robert and Edgar were amazing. My mother has trouble walking and they went out of their way to accommodate her and get her the easiest routes.
