Embark on a true Scottish adventure with our 3-day tour small group tour to Skye from Edinburgh. Journey through the magnificent Scottish Highlands, before arriving on the mystical Isle of Skye. Enjoy a full day exploring the island's most beautiful spots, before travelling back down to Edinburgh via the most photographed castle in Scotland, Eilean Donan.

Choose between single, double, or no accommodation at time of booking and travel by air-conditioned coach throughout your journey.

This tour can be booked with accommodation included or without. Accommodation options include: hostel, B&B, or hotel. If choosing to book your own accommodation, please ensure it is within 2km of Portree town centre.

• Please note: from 3rd December 2024 our Edinburgh tours will depart from NCP Castle Terrace, EH1 2EW.

Minimum age is 4 years.

Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark.

Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.

Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund.

Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your tour's departure time.

This tour can be booked with accommodation included or without. If booking your own accommodation, it must be within 2km of Portree town centre.

Luggage is restricted to one medium sized suitcase per person. For guidance: a medium sized suitcase is considered 60-69cm high and roughly 45cm in width. Luggage storage facilities operated by a third-party are available in Edinburgh.

Please note: from 22nd December to 1st February 2025, Eilean Donan Castle will be closed. We will still stop at the castle for photos and access to the bridge will be available. However, the Visitor Centre and toilet facilities will be closed.

Our 3 day Skye tour including accommodation in a single room at a Bed and Breakfast. Please note if booking more than one person, we cannot guarantee all rooms will be in the same B&B.

Tour Excluding Accommodation

Your 3 day tour will not include accommodation. You must book this yourself. We kindly ask you to ensure the accommodation is located in the centre of Portree, Skye.

It was amazing! Our tour guide, Jim from Timberbush, was very personable and very knowledgeable. He carefully curated a play list of traditional to modern rock - n - roll for the whole trip. Each song perfectly timed. The Mountain View’s of the Highlands were magical. There was h perfect balance of museums, nature, and hanging with the locals. The were plenty of rest stops. Food options were excellent. Hotel accommodation was clean and central.

Beautiful trip with excellent driver and historian of all the areas we visited. Andrew was knowledgable, kind, and so helpful to all of us. I am very grateful he was our tour guide and driver. This was a trip of a lifetime and I enjoyed it so much. Thank you again Andrew!!

Timberbush is a great company that provided the tour and Brian was an excellent guide. He showed us breathtaking landscapes and shared lots of stories about the country. He really made this experience to stand out among other tours. I would highly recommend it. It was a small group experience too and a really good combination of value and the cost.

Our tour was truly an unforgettable experience! Kenny, our guide was funny, friendly, and full of fascinating knowledge about Scottish history. Every viewpoint was stunning, made even more beautiful by the perfect sunny weather. The accommodation was thoughtfully arranged and very comfortable. It was a flawless, 10/10 trip that gave my friends and me memories we’ll cherish forever.
