Embark on a true Scottish adventure with our 3-day tour small group tour to Skye from Edinburgh. Journey through the magnificent Scottish Highlands, before arriving on the mystical Isle of Skye. Enjoy a full day exploring the island's most beautiful spots, before travelling back down to Edinburgh via the most photographed castle in Scotland, Eilean Donan.
Choose between single, double, or no accommodation at time of booking and travel by air-conditioned coach throughout your journey.
This tour can be booked with accommodation included or without. Accommodation options include: hostel, B&B, or hotel. If choosing to book your own accommodation, please ensure it is within 2km of Portree town centre.
• Please note: from 3rd December 2024 our Edinburgh tours will depart from NCP Castle Terrace, EH1 2EW.

Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark.

This tour can be booked with accommodation included or without. If booking your own accommodation, it must be within 2km of Portree town centre.
Luggage is restricted to one medium sized suitcase per person. For guidance: a medium sized suitcase is considered 60-69cm high and roughly 45cm in width. Luggage storage facilities operated by a third-party are available in Edinburgh.

Travel from Edinburgh to Portree
Luss Pier
From Edinburgh our Isle of Skye tour will head west to collect our Glasgow passengers* and then make our first stop on this Skye tour at the picturesque conservation village of Luss, on the ‘Bonny, Bonny’ banks of Loch Lomond.
Glencoe Lochan
Travelling north via Tyndrum we pass over the atmospheric Rannoch Moor before enjoying time to walk and admire the dramatic Glencoe, site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald Clan.

5.00We went on a 3day tour with timberbush travels from 25-27th April. The moni van/ coach was ina good condition with comfortable seats. Our driver and guide Jonathan was v cheerful, knowledgeable, an amazing story teller and ofcourse a v v safe and skilled driver.Together, we were a group of 11 , he made all of us feel v comfortable and was v helpful. He dropped us to our individual accommodations at Portree everyday. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with his story telling, the music in the coach and ofcourse the scenic landscapes. It was totally worth it ! A big Thank you to Jonathan and also Timberbush travels for giving us amazing experiences for life Would definitely recommend u guys to our friends

5.00We had an amazing time on our 3-day Isle of Skye tour! Every part of the trip was well organized, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. From the dramatic landscapes to the charming stops along the way, it truly felt like something out of a dream. Our guide, Sam, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable with great stories and local insights. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to take everything in. This tour was the highlight of our trip, and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to explore the beauty of Scotland. We loved every minute of it!

5.00I had a brilliant experience. My guide, Lorna, was professional, highly knowledgeable, and brought a remarkable amount of energy to the tour. Her passion made the experience much more enjoyable, and I am very grateful for her service! I’d say the best views of the Highlands are the ones you see while moving through the mountains and hills. A bus tour is the perfect choice for those who don't want to drive, especially for someone like me who prefers to sit back, relax, and enjoy the rest.

5.00We loved our time in the Isle of Skye, it is a beautiful place and you get to see it all. We stay on a cute B&B. I do recommend getting reservations early for the restaurants in portree at night.
Sites we would not seen otherwise and certainly would not have had the history and local knowledge.

5.00We had an absolutely amazing tour with this company, and our guide, Andrew T, made the experience unforgettable. He was witty, incredibly knowledgeable, and extremely well organized from start to finish. What really set Andrew apart is that he actually lived in Skye as a young man, which gave him a unique, personal perspective you simply can’t get from a typical tour. He didn’t just show us the sights, he brought the island to life with stories, local insights, and a genuine connection to this special land. You were the best. 5.00This trip was absolutely incredible! Our guide, Lorna was the best! She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, funny, the whole package! Especially loved all of the Scottish Folklore to go along with everything we saw and experienced! We started in Edinburgh and stayed 2 nights in Portree! I strongly recommend booking a tour of the Isle of Skye, it will not disappoint!
