Embark on a true Scottish adventure with our 3-day tour small group tour to Skye from Edinburgh. Journey through the magnificent Scottish Highlands, before arriving on the mystical Isle of Skye. Enjoy a full day exploring the island's most beautiful spots, before travelling back down to Edinburgh via the most photographed castle in Scotland, Eilean Donan.
Choose between single, double, or no accommodation at time of booking and travel by air-conditioned coach throughout your journey.
This tour can be booked with accommodation included or without. Accommodation options include: hostel, B&B, or hotel. If choosing to book your own accommodation, please ensure it is within 2km of Portree town centre.
• Please note: from 3rd December 2024 our Edinburgh tours will depart from NCP Castle Terrace, EH1 2EW.

Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark.

Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund.
Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your tour's departure time.

This tour can be booked with accommodation included or without. If booking your own accommodation, it must be within 2km of Portree town centre.
Luggage is restricted to one medium sized suitcase per person. For guidance: a medium sized suitcase is considered 60-69cm high and roughly 45cm in width. Luggage storage facilities operated by a third-party are available in Edinburgh.
Please note: from 22nd December to 1st February 2025, Eilean Donan Castle will be closed. We will still stop at the castle for photos and access to the bridge will be available. However, the Visitor Centre and toilet facilities will be closed.

Travel from Edinburgh to Portree
Luss Pier
From Edinburgh our Isle of Skye tour will head west to collect our Glasgow passengers* and then make our first stop on this Skye tour at the picturesque conservation village of Luss, on the ‘Bonny, Bonny’ banks of Loch Lomond.

Travelling north via Tyndrum we pass over the atmospheric Rannoch Moor before enjoying time to walk and admire the dramatic Glencoe, site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald Clan.

5.00Jack W was our guide and driver for this tour and was extremely friendly and professional throughout the entire trip. He went out of his way to make sure the group experienced as much as possible. The itinerary is a great way to see the Isle of Skye and other sites on the route while in Scotland. The highland cows are a highlight! Absolutely recommend this tour.

5.00What a great way to explore the Isle of Skye! We were able to explore so much in such a limited time thanks to our guide, Andrew! He was full of information and was super funny and kept us engaged. He made every effort in meeting all of our needs. He even made a return visit to the Old Man of Storr because it was foggy in the morning. So happy to experience so much of the itinerary and visited sheep and fed highland coos, too! Our B&B was adorable and walking distance from the middle of town. Plenty of time to shop and have dinner on our own. Andrew is awesome! Book this tour for a fab experience!
