I'm really glad I chose a guided tour instead of renting a car. Our guide Jack provided the uncut local knowledge, and was flexible and able to successfully pivot our activities based on any weather and/or crowds. We were traveling with my 9 year old daughter, who was especially delighted when we had an opportunity to feed carrots to crew of shaggy Highland Cattle outside of Portree on Day 2. Overall, it was great to kick back a learn about a region that Jack was authentically passionate about. The B&B arrangements were perfect as well, thanks to Margaret at Gables in Portree. It was all a great change of pace from the rest of our trip, which was more city-based. I'll definitely be recommending this trip to friends!

I don't speak English, but I really wanted to go to the Highlands and the Isle of Skye, so I went on tour. Even if you don't speak English, I'm very happy with the magnificence of the scenery. Of course, if you can speak English, you can listen to the guide's wealth of knowledge and enjoy it more. The guide was very kind to me, who really doesn't speak any English at all, not to deal with it. The b&b on the Isle of Skye was lovely, and the bunny greeted me in the garden as soon as I arrived. Breakfast is also very good. But most of all, its natural grandeur. The beauty of standing in it. It's actually worth tens of thousands of times more to stand there than to look at a picture. Most of the time I spent taking pictures and strolling around was unsegmented, waiting until the participants were satisfied. It was a really great experience. Thank you very much.

Andrew T was very knowledgeable, answered many questions, history and the land came alive. He asked us what we wanted to do and made sure we got where we wanted. Highly recommend.

Mark was a very fun and knowledgeable guide/driver. I enjoyed the country and all of his stories. I like the historical facts but I love the fairy folklore!

Excellent time with plenty of photo opportunities. Lorna was an outstanding guide, having been born in the Isles. The Isles was a good hotel. Try to get the 3rd floor. You can’t hear the bar or smell the restaurant.
