Wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes that you wouldn't mind getting dirty or wet. Water shoes, sneakers or hiking shoes are recommended.
This tour requires a minimum amount of 3 participants. If the minimum is not met with all total bookings, the tour would be suspended. Customers will get the chance to reschedule or get refunded.
Pick-Up Policy: Pick up starts 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to the selected tour schedule depending on the amount of stops the driver must complete. Your timely pick-up is important to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests. Please be ready at the main entrance of your designated pick-up location at the relative pick-up time. Your driver will wait up to 5 minutes before proceeding to the next location. If you miss your pick-up, you will be responsible for making your own way to the tour site to join the experience. We recommend planning ahead and being ready a few minutes early to avoid missing the adventure!
Travelers staying outside of San Juan must arrive at the Caribe Hilton for their transportation service!
Participants must be physically capable of walking thru steep, rocky, muddy and uneven surfaces without assistance
Back problems and pregnant women cannot participate on the tour.
This tour operates based weather and river conditions.
Use of lifejacket and helmet is mandatory.
On Saturdays the hike is longer and more challenging since we depart from a different point.
San Juan Tours reserves the right of admission - If a person appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not following instructions or causing disruptions the guide has the right to cancel their reservation at any moment, and no refunds will be issued due to this. Persons with the previously listed health restrictions cannot participate on the tour. No refunds will be authorized if a person neglects to read complete description and does not meet the safety requirements and limitations on the day of the tour. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level

We will start by picking up our customers from San Juan and then make our way across the island until we reach the Rainforest area. We travel along many different cities in which the tour guide will share some interesting and entertaining information of Puerto Rico along the way.
Luquillo
We take in the beautiful view of the Luquillo Beach are as we keep making our way to El Yunque. We pass by a well-known location where local offer different culinary choices. A great way to spend another day with your family exploring our paradise! We only drive by the area, we don't stop but shared experiences have been known to be great.

5.00Super fun. Our Guide was so nice to everyone and had a lot to teach us. It was definitely harder to climb the rocks than I thought it would be. I don’t think it’s meant for an older generation.

3.00⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Our hiking and water tour in El Yunque with Carlos was a beautiful and enjoyable experience overall. The rainforest is absolutely stunning—lush, vibrant, and full of breathtaking scenery. The natural water spots were refreshing and definitely a highlight of the day. Carlos was kind, welcoming, and clearly familiar with the area, which made the tour feel relaxed and comfortable. The only minor challenge was a bit of a language barrier at times, which made it harder to fully connect and understand some of the details being shared. Even so, we had a great time and truly appreciated the opportunity to explore El Yunque. With just a little smoother communication, this experience would easily be a 5-star tour!

5.00This is a VERY strenuous hike! Absolutely loved it and enjoyed the day and our tour guide TJ (or maybe DJ) but it’s not for those who are not in good shape. I would highly recommend it for those with endurance!

5.00Our family had a blast on this tour. Our guide Yamil was awesome and made sure we all had fun on the cliff jump and rope swing while still making sure everyone started safe. Highly recommend this tour and this guide was top notch. Thanks Yamil stay jacked!

2.00Overpriced and the experience was not as advertised. Guide was late and unkind, also texting and driving,“hike” was 10 minutes. The bottled water had all been opened lol and the tour guide did not give us any info on the ride up about the forest or its history. Unrelated to the company, I would also mention that while the rainforest area we were in was pretty especially the rockslide but quite crowded, I would recommend going somewhere else. FYI this review is edited bc of the comment from the organization saying I did not attend, I did attend on 3/9/26, my booking number was 334804752 and confirmation number was #FJABTB, the fact that the company is trying to pretend I wasn’t there might be the reddest flag of this entire organization.
