This part of the tour is upon request to the guide Heading onwards, you will reach the gorgeous town of Engelberg, famed for its immaculate winter scenery, rich spiritual history, and of course, its artisan cheese. As you make your way through the pretty town center, your guide will reveal the stories behind the famous Engelberg Abbey - a Benedictine monastery built in 1120 - and how it came to be the only site of its kind in Switzerland to have a dairy.
