Join us for a gentle walking tour around Auckland city in the afternoon taking in the sights, tastes and history of this multicultural and stunning city. The tour includes a visit to one of the city’s finest purveyors of artisan products, sweet delights at a city highlight and world class ice cream. We conclude the tour relaxing with a local wine or beer sampling. If you’ve had a jet set morning or arrived in the city first thing, the Auckland in the Afternoon tour is the perfect way to enjoy a few hours, relaxed and tasty! You’ll be surprised at how much yumminess can be packed in between 2.30pm and 5.30pm.

Our experience with Sarah could not have been more delightful and fun! Sarah is a proud Aucklander and very knowledgeable about the history. She’s also very knowledgeable about the food and wine scenes in Auckland and NZ. We tasted a variety of foods and enjoyed several so much that we ate at the establishments the next day for both lunch and dinner. Sarah also left us with a list that she wrote to offer even more suggestions for places to eat while we are in Auckland. We all say “ BRAVO” to Sarah and our food tour!

I had an absolute blast on this tour. Our guide Kath was very informative and did a great job of making sure everyone felt included. I was traveling by myself and there were 8 others in the group. Everyone was so welcoming and by the end I walked away with interesting information about the city and 8 new friends!

We booked this on the recommendations from family friends who did it last year and said it was the best tour they had done. And it didn't disappoint. Alex was really lovely. She was funny and managed to keep everyone totally engaged. The food was delicious and we booked two of the place we went on the tour for following meals. We did the Dunedin tour too and loved it. Highly recommend

I absolutely recommend this tour. It was a fantastic mix of food, wine, city, history and culture. It is a great intro to Auckland - do it on your arrival day! Sarah was an amazing tour guide, loads of knowledge and very likeable and interesting. The only thing that would have made the tour better would be a glass of wine with the amazing cheese board we had. Thanks for the great experience!
Recommend to anyone wanting to try the food, learn some history, and see Auckland.

Don’t miss this amazing tour that gives you a gourmet taste of the Auckland food scene. Tour guide Alex provides a fun and informative introduction to some delicious restaurants and shops that are quite generous in the beautiful and tasty bites they provide. Highly recommend!

Many different foods tasted-there was something for every taste. Kath gave us interesting general information about Auckland by the way. The route was easy to walk. The locations were tastefully decorated. Especially the Hotel de Brett was impressively decorated in Art Deco style.

The food tour was excellent. We had chocolate, seafood, Korean food along with other items and a glass of wine. Alex was very knowledgeable and fun. Would recommend it.
