Twice the ice! Explore the glacial icefalls of not one but two glaciers - Fox Glacier and Franz Josef Glacier on this 35-minute helicopter flight with a glacier landing along the way. You will then land on the snowfields up on one of the glaciers which is a huge highlight and will make for superb photos, snowballs and memories, before heading back down to Franz Josef Township

We fly all year round, weather permitting. Please note: On Christmas, we only operate for half the day (9 am - 12 pm).

Good Helicopter trip with friendly, helpful staff. We only had 4 people which was great, not sure I would have liked being on there with what I believe is the capacity of 6, that would be very cramped
Have a plan B in case of poor weather.

Due to bad weather we were unable to fly. Staff in office very helpful and rebooked us immediately on next morning. Unfortunately weathrr again prevented flight but stzff agaon fave us gpod advice to try a flight further south as we were travelling toward Queenstown. Have still not had flight due to weather but recommend everyone have a plan B in case of bad weather as this can occur anytime. Staff were excellent and offered alternatives.

We loved the flight and our pilot. We spend a nice time on the glacier and loved the view. We had originally booked (and paid) for the spectactular tour around mount Cook but due to the wind we did a shorter flight. They informed us perfectly and gave us a partial refund for the shorter flight

Although I was a little nervous i the helicopter the experience was amazing .the people involved are friendly.and professional and it was a great experience Thank you

Fantastic experience especially if you haven't been to the snow or in a helicopter. The landing on the snow was spectacular and was plenty of time to take photos and throw a few snowballs. The pilot kept us entertained and made sure my 8yr old son was looked after.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Our pilot was incredibly friendly and professional, shared really interesting information throughout the flight, and made the whole experience both fun and reassuring. The views were absolutely stunning, and everything was perfectly organized. We would highly recommend Glacier Helicopters to anyone — truly unforgettable!
