Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park
Your adventure starts in the morning with pick-up by car or minibus from South Bali: 5:45 AM from Seminyak or 7:00 AM from Ubud (also possible from Munduk, Pemuteran, or Gilimanuk). For participants already in Java, pick-up is at Probolinggo station at 3:30 PM. After several hours of travel, you will cross the Bali Strait by ferry to reach Java. Soon after, a local-flavored lunch will be served – your first culinary discovery of the region. By late afternoon, you will arrive at the village of Cemoro Lawang Bromo, located at 2300 meters above sea level. A simple and clean guesthouse awaits you with a local dinner, ideal for resting and preparing for the night ascent of Bromo the next morning.

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park
After a 3:30 AM wake-up, you’ll take a 4x4 jeep to ascend Mount Bromo (active volcano, 2300 m). Begin hiking a narrow path and climb 250 steps to the summit. At the top, enjoy breathtaking views of the smoking crater at dawn—a magical moment. Watch the sunrise over Bromo, surrounded by Batok (extinct, 2400 m) and Semeru (active, 3677 m, Java’s highest volcano). After sunrise, cross the “Sea of Sand,” a vast volcanic ash plain. Then visit Seruni viewpoint for panoramic views of the Tengger massif. After breakfast, continue through villages and plantations toward Kawah Ijen, with local lunch en route. Stay at a guesthouse near the volcano, ending the day with a traditional Javanese dinner.

Ijen Crater Indonesia
Departure at 1:00 AM to base camp (1900 m). After safety briefing and gear (lamps, masks), hike 1.5 hours under stars to Kawah Ijen summit (2300 m). In darkness, descend the crater to see the unique blue flames. Guides, former miners, ensure your safety. At sunrise, admire the world’s largest acid lake and courageous sulfur workers. Return to base camp and guesthouse for homemade breakfast and shower. Ferry back to Bali with drop-offs in Pemuteran, Munduk, Ubud, or Seminyak (late afternoon).

5.00We toured Mount Bromo and Kawah Ijen with IndonesiaTravel and are extremely satisfied! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Transfers, transportation, accommodation and meals were coordinated and qualitative. We never had to worry about anything. All the staff were lovely, the guides were very nice and always listening to our needs. They made sure to organize tours of high quality, and we were able to enjoy the highlights (sunrise, climbing, etc.). The whole team was responsive, attentive, listening to every detail, ready to answer our questions. We felt that they wanted our experience to be truly memorable. We even got their help to transfer us from Java to our next destination: Sidemen! In short, this trip exceeded our expectations in every respect. 5.00This 3 day trip was legendary! Everyone involved to make it happen deserves kudos; From the driver that picked us up from the hotel and took us to Bromo, the tour guide, the two guides in Bromo and Ijen and even the stuff and the 2 hotels we stayed in. This is a very serious effort done by the people who run these trips to make everything easy and automatic for the clueless tourist who wants to visit these magical places. You don't need much really, anything you miss or forget they will immediately take care of for you (clothes, bags, equipment etc). Everyone involved is a true professional, always at your disposal to make the trip easy and enjoyable. The accomodations were great, the food delicious and there are not enough words to describe the experience in the two places we went to. I can't recommend this trip enough, no need to look anywhere else if you want to visit Bromo/Ijen. Special kudos to Harry, the guide we had for the Ijen climb. He was a true legend, made everything easy for us and went the extra mile to make sure we get all the photos/footage we needed!

5.00Great three days tour from Bali if you want to see Ijen and Bromo.Good communication from the agency before and during the trip.I was accompanied by Sahal for 3 days who very knowledgeable, kind and pleasant to be with .The rest of the team, driver and guides for each volcanos were super professional and nice. Recommended.

The meals were great, special mentions for the evening meal of the first hostel and breakfast back to Bali 👌🏻 The guides are very pro, no pressure on the climb and all the staff was on top! Thank you to Sahal for being in the van and for answering our many questions 😇 Despite a weather not at the rendezvous for Bromo, the overall experience remains unique and beautiful! Go ahead!

5.00We had an incredible experience with Pierrick and his team. Everything is organized in a smart way to avoid other tourists when possible (Bromo). All the guides were very professional but also very kind especially with the kids. The hotel at Ijen is simple but comfortable and well decorated and the food, all local, amazing!

5.00I did the tour from Bali to see the Bromo and Kawah Ijen volcanoes and it was amazing. They came to pick us up at the hotel, and left us very close to our next hotel in Ubud. The whole stay overall was excellent and amazing attention from the team. Sahal accompanied us the whole trip and we really liked him, he is a caring and super friendly boy, always willing to help us with any problem. The rest of the team also passed, both Harry and Nungnung in Kawah Ijen, and Vano in Bromo. Our driver throughout the trip was Reza and we were always very comfortable and you segue with him at the wheel. The hostels very well and the food always great! Good local produce. Delighted and happy to have had this amazing experience! And it was thanks to the team. 10000% recommended

5.00The experience was incredible and very rich. The visit of Kawa ijen was breathtaking between the blue flames and the acid lake. The crater of Mount Bromo was impressive, and the sunrise was a real sight. The team was very kind, the accommodation very comfortable and the food very good. Then Pierrick was very accommodating regarding my program and very friendly (very funny too). Thank you for those excursions.
