Depart from Central Melbourne and get ready to explore the Yarra Valley wine region. Create your own schedule and then sit back and relax without having to worry about transportation during the day. Explore the very best of the region and its natural beauty as you taste some of the very best food, wine, gin, beer, and local produce in the country. Please refer to the map in the image gallery to view both routes. A copy of the timetable will be sent to you via email.
Please note that some venues require bookings and have also implemented paid tastings (regardless of group size and whether you are driving yourself or with a tour operator). As a hop on hop off service you will be responsible for booking your tastings but do not worry our venue guide and helpful staff are here to give you lots of recommendations if you are not sure where to hop!

5.00We had the best day ever and wonderful vineyard experience with the hop it tour. Jon was so helpful and organised, ensuring the whole day ran smoothly from start to finish. He also shared helpful insights about the vineyards. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and it was a real highlight of our holiday - a huge thank you to Jon and the Hop it Team!

5.00Thank you, Ceps! We had a great time being shown around the various wineries. Informative, fun, personable, and great driving. (And thanks to Jon for taking us around too. He took us to an add-on winery that required some coordination. Great music and driving too.)

5.00Great experience and excellent service from John. We were even tempted to book again the following day! I’d highly recommend the concierge service, made the whole day completely seamless. Time can fly in the one hour stops, so I’d suggest including at least one two-hour stop if you can. St Hubert’s had our favourite wines, and Punt Road was beautiful, with fantastic ciders as well as wine.

5.00Seamless way to get to the Yarra Valley with a friendly attentive guide. Would highly recommended this as a way to visit 4 wineries without the hassle of driving. We really enjoyed our day.

5.00HopIt is the best way to get around the wineries - an hour was the perfect amount of time at each of our 4 stops. Food and drink were available at each place we visited so no need for a longer stop for lunch.

5.00We hopped on the bus in Melbourne and enjoyed every single second, thanks to Jon, whose attention to detail and care of all passengers was superb! He provided recommendations, in line with our interests, he was punctual, he communicated well. On top of all that, he was super entertaining! Warmly recommend the tour to all wine lovers / or those who enjoy good food!

5.00This was such an easy way to safely visit the yarra valley. Pur bus driver, Ceps, had many fun facts about all the wineries, making you wanna come back and visit all the other wine makers on the list! 10/10 best day!
